When it said extra room, it means it! I got this so I could put all of my dry erase markers, highlighters, grading pens, plus all the miscellaneous pens, pencils, sticky tabs, charging cable for my iPad, and other assorted items and this holds it all! This holds the capacity of like 10 of those cheap zipper pouches. The “mouth” actually consists of some kind of bone or rod which helps the case keeps its shape rather than have it flop over. Despite its large size, you could easily put this in a backpack or bag. For just $8 you can get 10 zipper pouches and have to constantly flip and zip through, or you can give yourself peace of kind and get this!

Material: this is a tough canvas material and the zippers are just as tough. Capacity: this looks small until you open it—then it kind of opens like a flap and you see the square base and the room inside. Design: you can access from the top and the sides open to allow access inside as well. Pockets in the side openings allow access to frequently used items. I am currently using the for my lipstick collection. It holds lipsticks upright within and has plenty of room for… wait for it… at least 40 lipsticks. Given that the case itself is compact I really love this for that purpose. This can easily hold A LOT of pens or pencils. Price for black at the time of this review is 10USD which is a great price for the materials and design is great.

Liked this so much I bought 2! I reviewed the pale blue one on a more hardware/structural basis and it passed with flying colors. This is more of a creative what to do with this wonderful option of a bag. First of all, if you are an artist and have invested in a ton of pencils, it is a good pencil case. Otherwise, calling this a pencil case seems to minimize its potential. My entire 64 count box of crayons would leave available room in this stylish bag. It is sturdy, wipe-able, made of durable fabric and has great pockets. There are only 7 elastic pen/pencil/marker/Flair/crayon or writing utensil type holders on the one pocket side with a short open pocket below and a side mesh zip bag pocket to match. The other pocket is open to the inside with the liner as an unattached divider. Two small mesh open pockets flip out and would be great to hold small finds, items, receipts, memory cards, jump drives, gum, or other trinkets. This would be a great art bag, an on the go car kit for children of all ages, a first aid kit, a need to fix that bag with scissors/thread/glue/tape/tools type of items, a grooming kit, an emergency bride kit, a portable medicine bag to have for dr appointments, a photo ready bag, a journal to go kit, a pet info bag or even a pet treat bag, the list is endless when it arrives. My note pad, markers, pens, and washi tape are already in mine as I ready for the summer taxi service that drives folks from fun activity to the next. I hope to finish writing my next novel and this may just help me jot down the best lines of inspiration on the go.

For me there is nothing more important than a great pencil case that holds all my art stuff that I need and use everyday! This was everything I wanted and more! Highly recommended!

This size pen bag can have a variety of uses. This is well made and has room for so much. This could be a great makeup or jewelry bag. I will use it for pens and pencils. This is so roomy and very well made. We highly recommend this.

As someone who has lots of pens, pencils, etc. for drawings and other stuff, I’m constantly on the look out for a dependable, large capacity pencil/pen holder. This does a decent job of holding the pens/pencils I like to carry with me on the go. It has a good, durable material. I don’t believe that it will damage or weaken easily. It also has 2 side compartments for other little items you may want to store.

I haven’t had a pencil pouch since maybe middle school. I move around a lot though and I like to being my supplies with me for something to do. It’s difficult without something like this though. This has a lot of space and it feels quite durable !! It’ll be great and perfect for my materials and needs. It’s also highly portable just like I wanted. Colour is great too. So maybe it doesnt hold ALL the things, but it holds lots of things. Its got pockets galore. It would hold lots of smaller art supplies, but I think Ill be using it for makeup brushes and liners. Its a really great quality and will travel well.

The case is only 9 long but I was surprised at how much it holds in the center section and the two separate zippered compartments on the sides. I ordered it for a travel case for cosmetics and its features make it great to pack everything while still being able to find exactly what I want without having to rummage through it all. One side pocket has a zippered mesh full-length pocket on one side and elastic loops with a mesh bottom pocket on the other. This worked so well for eye liner pencils, tweezers, mascara wands, and brushes. The other side pocket has a mesh pocket (divided in two) on one side and a piece of lining on the other side that is only about 7/8ths of the way up - leaving a space that allows access to the center storage area. I would have liked it better if it had enclosed the pocket completely because things from one section could slide to the other section when Im traveling. The middle section is large enough to hold hair brushes and small containers of various lotions, etc. It opens widely and has a metal reinforcement all around the opening that keeps the sides rigid. I love this feature because it makes it so easy to access the compartment with one hand. One side of the lined center compartment has a full length pocket while the other has that short piece of lining that allows access to the second outside pocket. The zippers are smooth and dont stick or catch as they go around the curves. The outer fabric feels sturdy. There is a loop handle that is large enough to carry on my wrist or hang from a hook in a hotel bathroom. Well sewn with lots of good organization possibilities. This is just what I was looking for.
