> 3 dayIt is meant to replace the previous filter of the same nature. It is doing what it was designed to do. I have no complaints about that. I think the filter should not cost the same as, or very near, how much it costs to buy a brand new bottle with filter from this company, but besides the value, it is great that this filter only needs replacing (in my case) once to twice a year, so that cuts down on cost, compared to other filtered water bottle brands that will need changing every more frequently. Remember to order way in advance. Like before you really need to replace your filter in your bottle. I am hoping it was just due to the holidays but it did take a bit longer than it should have just to deliver it. If I had ordered it too late, I might have been a bit more upset about how long it took.

Amazing Customer
> 3 dayI bought this water bottle that uses this filter. Definitely worth the money. Ive taken this water bottle with me to trip overseas, to parks, and on road trips. I also use the water bottle as my daily beverage bottle. This has saved me $$$$ over time. No more plastic water bottles to buy. I just use tap water to fill my water bottle up and this filters out all the pollutants so my water tastes good. I always can tell when I need to switch the filter (usually after about 5 to 6 months) because the water starts to taste like chlorine.

> 3 dayThese filters work great with the large Nalgene bottles (though you need a special lid). Compatible with the 48 oz bottle so fewer refills and easy to drink out of, unlike some other bottles like Brita, but also much more expensive than Brita bottle filters. Overall still a good item, about half the price of cheap bottled water in the long run.

> 3 dayTo be noted I used this with a Hydroflask; While the idea of this is great, the execution isn’t all here. I’ll start off by saying the good; the filter does what it’s made to do - filters water just fine, but that’s about where the good ends. The hydro flask straw doesn’t quite fit into the filter, doesn’t matter if you get it wet, spit on it, take it out to dinner, it just wasn’t going in there without some kind of accusation of wrongdoing. I had to whittle mine down to just the right size just to finagle it in there and now I can’t drink my amazingly filtered water down to the bottom of the bottle. This wouldn’t be a problem as I would typically just unscrew the cap and throw back the rest but the filter leaves the inside of the water bottle smelling like something I’d found in a swamp after three days of looking for a missing person. Kudos to the filter because the water coming out of my straw tasted like pure springs, but take those kudos back for befouling my hydroflask in such a manner. Naturally I’d want to rid myself of this product but remember the little whittling I’d done to start this adventure, well that’s basically rendered my straw useless without the filter so here I am, waiting on a new straw, careful to open my water bottle in public for fear of being caught with the dead body inside.
