I started to get into the keyboard community but did not want to spend a chunk of money on a keyboard. It is still a keyboard at the end of the day but sounds way better lubed. This is now my new main.

Feels nice to type on, if youre experienced with keyboards you might find it wobbly depending on how you type. Lights look fine and can use a shortcut to disable them. Keycaps come off pretty easily and can be replaced easily. PBT keycaps are incredibly good compared to ABS so thats a benefit, you wont have to buy your own along with the keyboard. Hot swappable is a very good perk that comes with the keyboard too but sometimes the switches will come loose from the keyboard which is a little odd, I dont really know what causes that. Id recommend it, especially if you intend to mod it and alter it when you get the chance to.

I think that the EP84 is a great starter keyboard, especially since you have a large amount of gaterons to choose from. There are some thing s that I wish were different. I wish the height of the case was a little shower given the contents, and I wish that there was more control over the rgb settings

For the price you are paying, this keyboard is really great choice. Especially if you are looking for a good entry keyboard. It uses USB-C cable and the keycaps are good quality and have a cool color theme that remind me of the ones from Drop. I will say the stabilizers on a few keys, especially the spacebar make it rattle. Easily fixable, just mod it through lube or bandages, or you can even upgrade the stabilizers. The keyboard is hotswappable so you will enjoy upgrading if you please. Overall I recommend it.

Its an okay board, decent couch keeb that gets the job done. The thin plastic case is super loud and echoes with a cheap sound. Stabs are surprisingly not awful. Overall its not the worst purchase, but certainly could find something better elsewhere. If you are interested in the layout it might be more worth it. Flex is minimal and lights are pretty bright, even with switches that arent clear. Included switches are awful though and difficult to remove unless you use their included tool. The switches sit too close to the case which makes certain switch removers struggle to get them out.

I love the Black switches. They are perfect for anyone that thinks red is just too light. This keyboard has held up everyday use for a couple months now. I will be switching out some switches soon. I will not buy white keyboard keys again. Get tooo dirty too fast

I purchased the EP84 and could not get it to bluetooth-pair with my Macbook Pro 2020 or my iPhone 14. It shows up when I long-press FN123 but when I actually try to connect, nothing happens and it goes into sleep mode. The manual says that if it goes to sleep, it isnt connecting, but doesnt give any suggestions on what to do in that case. I tried turning my bluetooth off and on, restarted, and charging the keyboard again but just could not get it to connect. I reached out to Epomakers customer service and they essentially repeated what the manual says to do. I sent them a video of what was happening and they said it could be that the PCB board that is broken and that I should apply for a replacement. I ordered a replacement and Im having the same problem which leads me to believe that this keyboard is not actually bluetooth-compatible with Apple products. Id be very interested to hear if any Mac users have had success because if thats the case, maybe the quality control is just bad. Regardless, it looks like I have to give up on using this keyboard. Full disclosure: I dont have any way to test if the wired or 2.4g work because I don’t have any products that have a USB port so it might just be the bluetooth that doesnt work. Rating two stars because the keyboard itself does feel and look very nice but is ultimately useless to me if it isnt bluetooth compatible with Apple products. Super disappointing :(
