Ill start by saying that although I have typed on other mechanical keyboards. This is my first personal mechanical keyboard. After using this for about a week straight, about 4 to 8 hours a day, I can say that I am very happy with this keyboard. Ill list the pros and cons. Pros: - Bluetooth capability, I thought I wouldnt use this that much but thats all I ever really use unless I need it for gaming or to charge. You have the ability to connect 3 devices at the same time, including phones and tablets and switch between the devices in a matter of seconds. Also allows you to move the keyboard frequently and I often times put it on my lap while doing homework when my desk space is full. For regular keyboard use and typing, I see no latency or delay when typing. If there is, its so slight you cant notice it. - Battery, the battery with RBG lights on has lasted me about 5 days. Which I think is very good considering how much time I spend on the computer each day. The RBG lights turn off with 30 seconds of inactivity to save battery and turn back on when you press a key. It is claimed that the battery lasts 100 hours with the lights off, so Ive been using it during the day with the lights off now to see how much its life is extended. - Huano Switches, while they arent Cherry or Outemu, they perform really well. The stabilizers come factory lubed! - RBG Lights, this may not be important to everyone, but typing in the dark can be a real pain without it. The lights are very smooth and bright, and I have not noticed any sort of flickering from them. A lot of customization options with the lights as well. - Software, you can actually use the RAKK lam-ang pro software found online to customize this keyboard. It has features with the RGB lights and other things such as key reassign and macros. - Volume scroll wheel, again another feature that I thought was a neat addition but wouldnt use much. I was wrong, I use this scroll wheel all the time. Love that they added it and with a button press it can be switched to control the brightness of the keyboards RGB lights. Cons: - Switches, although the stabilizers are lubed, I notice there is a slight rattle. Not enough to make me go out of my way and make any modifications. At least not yet. - Ping, if you listen very very carefully and really slam a key press, you can hear a slight pinging noise. Again, you will never notice this unless you have super sonic hearing or really abuse your keyboard. - Extra Keycaps, I love this idea of having a set of colored keycaps for some extra customization. However, one of the control keys came cracked. I reached out to EPOMAKERs support team directly on their website with my amazon order number, and they refunded me 5% of my order cost (about $3.50). I thought this was fair for one keycap and they even sent me a confirmation that the refund was processed. They replied rather fast and it was a great experience. - Bluetooth, I have noticed that sometimes my bluetooth connection to my windows 10 laptop disconnects when I dont type for a while and then reconnects after a couple seconds. Not a big deal or anything to really gripe about. About once or twice, it has disconnected and did not reconnect until turning the keyboard off and back on again. - Not hot swappable, this was the main reason I was hesitant about getting this keyboard. I heard that soldered switches were more reliable and longer lasting, and the other features of this keyboard convinced me to take a chance and lock into the brown switches. Guess I always have the option of desoldering if I need to replace switches. Overall, I think that this keyboard is a really good deal for pricepoint. I wouldnt hesitate picking this one up. It has served me very well with heavy usage for a week straight.

This is my 2nd hot-swappable keyboard, after my Velocifire M2. Ive been always looking to increase my desk space so out went my bulky Logitech G915 and so began the hunt for my new keyboard. My two boards were the Velocifire M2 with Brown switches and the Keychron K8 board with blue switches (renewed). Unfortunately, the K8 was defective so I had to stick to the Velocifire. In replacement, I decided to order this product the EPOMAKER K870T with Red Switches. I can honestly say, the red switches on this are terrible as I make so my typos when typing but the board itself is amazing in its design. Once I swapped out the reds with browns (I am so grateful I got the hot-swap version), the keyboard is almost perfect to type on. If youre wondering why I had to buy extra switches to swap out, well the white keyboard came with red switches, frustratingly enough. The keycaps have a bit of wobble - theyre good but I recommend replacing them down the road with better ones. DO NOTE: The boxing, packaging will list AJAZZ when you receive it in the mail, not EPOMAKER. Its the same product. I almost returned this product to amazon until I confirmed it was the same product. The volume wheel itself is a huge deal breaker and really helped me transition from one of my most favorite Logitech keyboard features to this new keyboard. Really, the addition of the volume wheel makes wonders! Bluetooth works but please dont expect it to be reliable for gaming. The lights are RGB but theres only 1 preset pattern (waves) in two directions. The pattern is cool in the beginning but really gets tiring after 2 weeks of usage. Then again this is a budget board so I cant be nitpicky about everything right?

Great keyboard for what it’s cost. The red switches are super nice for FPS gaming and it doesn’t give my hands much tension when I’m playing or just typing for work/school. The LEDs are amazing and surprisingly last super long with Bluetooth (+LEDs on). Of course that’s with turning the keyboard off when I’m afk for the night or out.

I have the hotswappable version, it came with a basic keycap puller, a switch puller, a braided cable, extra switches and a couple other switches to try out. The scroll wheel is a little loose but works well. The stabilizers are specific to the plate it seems, they clip into the plate and they dont screw in or stab into the PCB. I was able to lube the stabilizers and bandaid mod the keyboard and it sounds a lot better now, less rattle. The main reason why I bought the keyboard was to have less wires on my desk but theres a big issue with mine and it disconnects from the bluetooth frequently and when I move it a certain distance from my computer, it lags a lot. I am not far from my desktop at all, Its about 3 feet, sitting on the floor, all of my other bluetooth devices seem to pair and work just fine. Hopefully there is a firmware release that will fix the bluetooth issue but other than that, all else seems to be great with the keyboard. A budget hotswap keyboard you can mod to your liking that looks great with a scroll wheel.

A good first mechanical keyboard. The keyboard is pleasant to use, but I would highly recommend getting a deskpad if you dont have one already. Its a pleasant typing experience (at least compared to the the Logitech K545 I was using before). The springs on my board noticeably creak if Im listening for it, especially on certain keys. The stabilizers on my spacebar arent great, but again, only if Im paying attention to them. Aside from that, I really enjoy using this keyboard. The RGB lighting is pleasant, and shines through the keycaps well. Lots of different RGB modes as well, and the brightness has a good number of adjustment levels. I also like the variety of multimedia keys, and the volume scroller is very convenient. A good keyboard for the price.

It feels great when typing. Its configurable in every meaningful way. The battery lasts when you arent using it regularly.

--UPDATE-- This is currently my favorite keyboard. I absolutely love the form factor, the way it feels, and the volume wheel is awesome as well. Im very particular about my keyboards as Im somewhat of an enthusiast when it comes to this hobby. So yeah, definitely a great buy! This keyboard is really great! I purchased this over the Ducky One 2 TKL, and I (mostly) dont regret it! Im still debating whether or not to keep this one or go with the Ducky. This board though, is a great value... especially compared to any keyboard charging over $100. For whatever reason this keyboard gives off such a cute-sy vibe, I honestly love it. First off, it comes with a set of cute extra rainbow keycaps. Second, its USB Type-C, not micro-usb like some cheap Chinese keyboards. Third, it has a volume wheel! Thats such a nice little touch in my opinion, covers up the blank space, and I think its a good idea. Now... for the cons. First off, the switches arent Cherry MX... I mean, this should be obvious since its so cheap. Secondly, the RGB lights are somewhat dim IMO. At least, compared to some other cheap keyboards. But the worst of all... the keys arent totally straight, or aligned. Look in the pictures - the keys are all over the place. They wobble and can be nudged to be tilted in different directions. It looks sloppy and very cheap. Overall though, Id recommend it if youre wanting a good, modern RGB mechanical keyboard for a price much lower than the higher-end, more sought after models.
