We got two for a fair price and it works perfectly as a new one. Thanks!

Our last projector was an 81P. We used it 4 hours a week for more than 12 years with maybe 1 re-lamp. Then had to replace due to greening (burning of the UV lens adhesive due to age). The 3,600 lumen vs the deteriorated 2,000 was no comparison. Even the older people in the room made first time statements that they could see all of the wording on the screen. Colors during dark and bright house lighting are nothing short of excellent. Well worth the purchase and less than 1/2 what was paid for the 81P 12 years ago when it was new. Thank you.

After much research we upgraded to this from an older projector when its bulb died, and Im glad we did! This projector is easy to use, very bright, and works well when close to the screen. We connected two different laptops (one via VGA, one via HDMI) and used the remote to seamlessly switch from one to the other mid-presentation. The key stone correction was very helpful when projecting onto a freestanding projection screen & those never seem to hang perfectly straight! Only negative is that we cant control the presentation from the remote, but at this price point Im fine with that! Would definitely buy again.

Could not be more pleased with the Refurbished EX5280 and my movie watching life will never be the same. PLEASE NOTE - The speaker is CRAP and there is no audio out option without a tech bro hack BUT if you have a Roku (or other similar product) that allows for listening mode (normally used to connect to headphones for private listening) you can mute the projector and route the Roku sound to a bluetooth speaker.

Absolutely awesome. And as close to perfect as you could expect. We bought this for your garage so we could play out Wii and watch movies. If you’re going to bug this and want to use an external sound system, I highly advise getting one of these: iArkPower HDMI Audio Extractor Splitter HDMI to HDMI + Optical + RCA L/R Stereo Audio Out Supports 3D (1080P) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I9JG70A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_5ETT9766M3WF2Y27X45X?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 This allows you to pass through the HDMI connector while using component audio direct to your sound system. Picture quality: 5 out of 5 stars. Amazing quality, great brightness and easy keystone controls. Audio: not really fair to judge since I pass the audio through but the built in speaker is nothing to brag about nor should it be.

This device has a great picture, brightness, and remote. Those are things that amazon requests feedback on. Yay. But sound? It’s as if Epson and amazon don’t think sound and video Have any connection. I don’t understand why, but this projector does not support sound. It has a small speaker which may be acceptable for a small boardroom, but you CANNOT connect this device to an external speaker. Those RCA connectors on the back are for input only and there is no 3.5 mm out anywhere. If you want to use this for anything requiring more than a transistor radio volume, you will need additional hardware of which i have not yet determined. This product category is immature and features are not yet standard. You can choose a personal projector with streaming, audio out, and the brightness of a dull flashlight OR you can pick a projector like this which will light up you back yard even before dusk but is about as smart as a table lamp. You decide but neither will make anyone happy. Epson has a new device which may do both but at 1000 bucks it’s twice as much as this one and out of most people’s budget.

The clarity of the projection is great. The wireless feature is a bit harder to figure out. We purchased this projector to use it during board meetings so I have not been able to use it outside of a room. In a well lit room, the projection was clear.

Bought this for our church, to run our bulletins, it wasn’t hard to set up and connect with an USB cable, but was very complicated to set up using the WiFi, as the instructions aren’t clear or we were just confused, had to get a computer expert to set it up wireless, after that it was perfect and has been going strong, highly recommend but the WIFi hook up might take you awhile if you are a novice. The reason for the three stars for the remote we have to be about a foot from the projector to control it, our projector is mounted on the ceiling other than that the remote is of good quality and works very well
