> 24 hourI use this and a new version Lincoln Viking 3350. The Viking is a tiny bit clearer in some situations, but I usually use this hood anyway because I like how it fits me. This one is $200 less than the Lincoln. If cost is an issue, get this. If you need the best and can spend more, the Lincoln or the Esab a60 are a little bit better. If you can spend even more, the Optrel is also great. Id get an a60 if I were to buy again and wanted the best vision and comfort, but your eyes and head are different than mine, so try them on if you can.

> 24 hourLove it! Really like the grind button being separate from the shades and the green flash, helps a lot. Comfortable head gear, good clarity of the weld puddle. For the price, cant beat it, its an awesome hood!

> 24 hourAdjusting the lens shade control from 9 to 13 didnt seem to lighten or darken the shade. It was always too dark for me to see what I was welding. I gave up on this helmet and bought a Lincoln Viking 3350 to replace it.

> 24 hourOptics are the best I have ever used. Added sweatband to mount and it feels like a 500 dollar helmet. Not to flashy light and the tilt setting stay true.

> 24 hourBest bang for your dollar in welding helmets.. I had a friend come over with a Miller helmet and was shocked how good the ESAB was and purchased one for himself. If you are on the fence on what helmet to get look no further.
