> 3 dayBought two bottles of EssentialOxygen’s 3% hydrogen peroxide, one from Amazon and another from my local health food store. BOTH safety seals had been tampered with. *** UPDATE - I reached out to EssentialOxygen directly to ask about the holes in the safety seals; Someone from the company contacted me 1 business day later to explain that their safety seals are meant to allow pressure to escape, not liquid. Unfortunately with supply chain issues, their seals and pressure release mechanisms have been less than ideal, resulting in inconsistent, sketchy looking holes. The holes are put there during the packaging process and they are aware of the issue. I appreciate that the company took the time to reach back out to me - perhaps they should add some information to their FAQs as this seems to be an alarming issue to consumers.

21-11-2024I was a little skeptical from other reviews that mentioned the seal being tampered with. So when I opened the bottle and it had 5 tiny holes on the top, I emailed the company. This was their response: “The five tiny vent holes in the seal are supposed to be there and the product is safe to use. The little holes are intentional - so that if there is any expansion in the bottle there is a way for air to escape. These are special burping seals for products with Hydrogen Peroxide. It is fully sealed and okay to use.” Good to know those holes are intentionally placed (see attached photo). Great customer service. And I’ve been using the product since, which seems to be helping my ear infection. Definitely will try it out for other purposes soon!

> 3 dayThis product is great. It can be used for a lot of things. Don’t be scared off by people getting a bad batch that they believe is not sealed properly. The new packaging may have confused people. Sometimes there isn’t an outside plastic seal. And the hole on the top of the bottle that you will find whem you open it is supposed to be poked so that way you won’t completely expose all of your hydrogen peroxide and you can get a nice stream to pour over your veggies etc- think going to the bathroom lol. The bottle is so big I think when they redesigned some of them they realized too much would push out and the tiny hole after you poke it will allow for less mess. Enjoy it - it works.

Greater than one weekThe seal looked like it had been half opened and a third of my product was missing. Not hygienic or safe especially for a first aid item like hydrogen peroxide. Terrible!

> 3 dayHas no noticeable odor! Did a ton of research and decided this was the most effective and safest cleaning agent for the high chair tray. Many studies I reviewed surprisingly showed food grade 3% HP is more effective at killing bacteria than the leading Lysol disenfecting sprays which smell horrible and have tons of chemicals! Do your research and decide what is best for you. Only reason for deducting one star is that I wish the large bottle came with a spray nozzle to use with it. I pour a little out each time I use it and could use less with a spray. The only spray bottle offered when I purchased was a small size and the price was almost as much as the large bottle!

> 3 dayIve been adding an ounce of this to the water I use for sprouting seeds on my kitchen counter. It works great for that -- seeds are sprouting more quickly and the soak water is clean when I rinse it away (not slimy). Also using to spray on kitchen counters and other surfaces to clean. Item arrived well packaged and no leaks. Pleased with my purchase.
