I used this for shade at an outdoor summer wedding. It was hot and sunny and this parasol made a significant difference in keeping me cooler. It also kept me from getting a sunburn. It is well made and easy to open and close. It folds up small for ease of carrying. It’s lightweight but withstands some wind. It also matched my dress and is quite pretty. I highly recommend.

Bought this for a friend of mine who had a black umbrella and lost it in someones car. Since everyone has black umbrella, she didnt know which was hers. Hopefully this will be different enough from all the others shes around that if she leaves it behind, they will know who it belongs to and give it back to her.

There is a small plastic toggle that keeps the umbrella in the open position. It broke the 2nd time I used it and unfortunately I didnt use it a second time within the return window. I can still use it if I stick a piece of something in the small hole that the plastic filled, but that means I will not use this umbrella unless Im desperate.

Its a very pretty design, but the silver coating under is a bit transparent. When sun is shining through it shows a bit of the top image. Its not a great silver for Ren faire backgrounds. The pole length is very small and its a pain to close. Have to hold it up high not to hit my head. Does cover a good area. Not impressed with the holder bag or the lanyard that comes attached. Might be returning for a sturdier less transparent umbrella for summer festivals.

Im very sensitive to the sun, partly due to medication. Im excited about enjoying my granddaughters birthday party at the park next weekend. With this is going to be great. Quality was better than expected and prettier in real life.
