Ideal to ensure your luggage is under the airline weight limits. I pack it into my bag (its lightweight and small) to also use before my return flight, especially if Ive bought souvenirs! I havent spent much time checking accuracy, but I havent had an airline tell me my bag was over (even though I know its been close).
