Etimo Crochet Hook, Size 10.5/6.50mm

> 24 hourI bought this because my Clover hooks only go up to 6.0mm in the metal, and I felt like the plastic hooks had too much friction with the yarn I wanted to use. Rather than put up with that for a whole blanket, I thought Id give this Tulip a try. I just knew I was going to hate that little thumb rest bump. After I got used to it, I really didnt mind it at all. (I use a knife grip, and I tend to roll the hook with my thumb and first two fingers.) This hook slides smoothly through my yarn. I actually found the red color to show up better against the yarn as well. I didnt love how the raised wording on the end rubbed my hand, but I was able to file it down with a metal nail file. Thats the absolute worst thing I can say about it, and I didnt even notice that until someone else pointed it out. Im glad I tried it!

> 24 hourI needed this size and I’ve been reading that many people prefer the Tulip hooks so I gave it a try. It’s lightweight and easy to use, but I think my Clover set is fine, no need to replace it.

> 24 hourI ordered this hook to try out the Etimo line of crochet hooks. It is a very comfortable hook to use. The handle portion is very smooth and sits comfortably in my hand. There is a little bump for a thumb rest and my hand felt very good with my thumb sitting on that area. The metal hook portion was extremely smooth and made crocheting very easy, it didnt cause the yarn split at all. The added plus is the beautiful red color.

> 24 hourI’ve tried many types and brands of crochet hooks and my absolute favorite hooks are Tulip, and Clover hooks. They are both TOP quality, and have the smoothest tips that will only glide, snd never snag. I use both brands because with some yarns, it’s easier to work with the more rounded Clover tips, while some yarns require the more precise tips I feel Tulip has. I love the highly visible and attractive red color this edition is.
