Nobodys life has ever been in danger around me, and I hope it stays that way. I havent had to use this product, but its very light and its compact enough to travel with. I just hope it does 100 if I ever do have to use it.

Our church has a 2yr through Kindergarten school. We scheduled a CPR/AED class for the staff of the school and for our church staff. After the training, we evaluated our medical supplies and found we were lacking in CPR supplies. While searching for breathing devices we could use in the event of an emergency requiring CPR, we found the Ever Ready First Aid Adult and Infant CPR Mask Combo Kit. This is EXACTLY what we needed! The kit has an infant and an adult/child mask with the accompanying valves along with a pair of gloves and alcohol pads. The masks are sized appropriately, and have a soft seal, which will fit around the nose and mouth of the person in distress. Everything fits into a small bag which is very portable. We ordered 10 of them to place around our facility and in the preschool. One member even bought two to keep in his and his wifes car. If we ever see the need to replace or purchase more, I assure you that FBC will be purchasing the same item.

I to read the one star reviews of this being a defective product but ordered it due to the more positive reviews. When it arrived I thought it was assembled wrong. I call Amazon and sent an email to the seller about the adult seal being on the wrong side. A few days later I watched a video on how to open the mask. The instructions in the package do not make it clear. Just hold the pillow side towards you with both hands and push the inside of the mask away from you with your thumbs and it will properly deploy. I would give this a 5 star review but only used 1 star so that potential buyers would have the correct information. I did reach out to Amazon and seller to let them know I was mistaken on my first call.

I am certified in First Aid, CPR and AED. I was worried about this mask because of some of the reviews but some people have obviously never attended any training. I highly recommend attending an actual class and not using those free online classes or using YouTube videos to get this kind of knowledge. This knowledge is critical in situations that require CPR and If you wrongfully perform CPR you can get sued unless you followed the steps where the good samaritan law protects you.

The pictured masks have a port on the adult mask in order to connect supplemental oxygen while providing require breaths. The units received so not have this port. Overall the mall and valve are ok.
