This power supply randomly trips the breaker in my house, a couple times a day. Very annoying, I will throw out and a new one from a different manufacturer.

I like that the fan will stay off until it needs it. You can check the condition of the power supply before you install it. My 7 year old power supply began switching itself off, dont know why but it wasnt due to overheating as my computer only uses 300 watts when fully stressed and the power supply has a 650 watt total rating and the 12v rail handled around 500 watts. This power supply is made using Superior Japanese caps instead of the cheap Chinese caps.

Purchased this on a deal. I have used EVGA products for many years primarily GPU and Power Supplies and have had no issues. Over time, I have migrated to fully modular and the more silent rated power supplies for better cabling and quiet operation. No failures or complaints with this power supply. The provided cables are more than needed for my install providing a minimal footprint in the case.

The PSU isnt particular hard to install itself but I have a case that it is supposed to fit but I had to remove the HDD Bay to do so because its a bit longer then other PSUs of the same power.

Works as expected, no issues.
