While quiet, and cables being braided are nice features. This is the second time Ive had an EVGA supernova pop a capacitor upon starting up computer. I was well over the wattage required for my system, as my older Corsiar PSU is the same power rating and is several years old now and still running strong on the same system.

What can I say. 1000w and runs everything without an issue. Fully modular cables are a plus to not have to shove a bunch of cables in the case. Really and a fan of this psu and have no regrets. Plus price is on point.

Bought this for a 24/7, lower end system. Wanted to have a little extra head-room wattage wise (600W would have worked).

It makes power, isnt RF noisey (this is a huge thing if you are an amateur radio operator). I also have this grounded via copper to my ground bus. It does what its meant to do in a clean way. What else can be said.

When I rebuilt my machine 5 years ago, one of the places I cut corners was on the power supply. Big mistake - the cheap one I bought failed without warning after only a few years. Im lucky it didnt fry any of my other components! This time around, I wanted to make sure that I bought a quality product that would last, as I rely on my PC for both work and for my free time.

Im very happy with my choice. I was going between this unit and A similar one by Corsair. Im happy I picked this one. If you know what youre doing set up is easy. It powers up great and the ECO feature is nice. No temperature problems.

It has a very loud coil whine. This is now the second EVGA PSU I have bought. The last one was a 750w and this one is a 850w. They both have coil whine. This one developed the coil whine around a month after I bought it. I primarily use it for gaming and watching youtube. Never buying EVGA again. Will also tell my friends to steer clear of EVGA. The coil whine is loud and annoying. Super bummed out this happened.

Excellent power supply, the modular connections made it easy to cable manage the build since I didnt have to worry about additional cables. The only suggestion would be to include the individually sleeved cables. The included ones are hard to manipulate due to the stiffness of the heat-shrink and sleeve.
