> 3 dayI bought this Power Supply in conjunction o getting my 3080 for my system. After installing everything and started up my computer it was fine, but when I started gaming it would completely shutdown and lockup until I unplugged the power supply and plugged it back in, I did some research and found that the majority of EVGA Power supply’s Cannot deal with the transient spikes that come from the 30 series Cards and completely shutdown your system with no warning. I recommend getting the Corsair RM1000 for your system or even the RM850 as both do not have issues with transient spikes

> 3 daySo, mine tested 0 PG/LOL. All other non-load values were fine. So, I installed it anyway as I suspected these cheap testers cannot do some things properly.

> 3 dayReplaced a cheaper no-name PC power supply. My Win10 PC kept rebooting when doing very heavy usage video work. Thought it was a software problem, but someone suggested a power supply replacement. I was skeptical, but replacing the old power supply was a no-brainer--bought it at a remote location overseas at an open air market as no other source was available. Turned out in solving my problem completely! Compared to the old power supply, this one is very quiet, but some other folks here seem to disagree. Installation was not as easy as expected. Make sure you have your motherboards installation manual as the cables in some cases are not similar. Nonetheless, PC started up on first flick of the switch. That was two months ago, no problems since.

> 3 dayFairly good in terms of performance, noise and price point but mine had some coil whine in which I had to tweak some settings to lower the noise.

> 3 daySo as we know in the Tech industry, bad units are inevitable. Unfortunately, this time I was the on the receiving end of a bad unit. However, I have tried many Suppliers for PC Parts over the years.. and have gotten bad units from the likes of MSI, ASUS etc.. so this being my first from EVGA really was no surprise. Plainly put it happens... period, hardware failure can strike at any time no matter the QA that goes into product testing. With all that being said, Ive owned many EVGA products and this was the first to die within warranty period. (1 month after purchase.) Having dealt with many Customer Service agents in the past I was dreading the long ordeal and what not of getting an RMA. I am pleased to say, EVGA has handled this in the most professional manor! My experience was wonderful, and they have earned themselves a lifelong customer! Awesome job, with your RMA process! Great job with training your techs.

Greater than one weekThis thousand watt PSU worked great for five years then the fan ceased caused the Power supply to burn out. That would have been OK, I would have just replaced it, but it destroyed the motherboard with a power surge before it died!

> 3 dayEste PSU es muy bueno, no lo escucho ya que lo tengo en modo Eco y se mantiene apagado el abanico hasta que llega a 55C el PSU. Se mantiene muy silencioso y frío aún así sin el modo ECO.
