> 3 dayDunno why, but in the last month I had two brand new supplies fail in a row. Both $150 range Corsair and EVGA 850s that showed up already defective or failed within minutes. The Corsair took an entire new build out with it. The EVGA showed up with a funky 12v rail right out of the box. Doesnt say much about quality control anymore does it? These days the manufacturer name doesnt mean as much, it is the actual model that sets them apart, or not. And there is no way to build right cheaper!

Greater than one weekBuilding a monster computer, 128 GB memory, 8 hard drives, liquid cooling for CPU and video card. with literally 12 fans in the case. Lots of components end up needing lots of available power, and this power supply is a BEAST, AND it is fully modular. 1600 watts of power will give me ample power for all of the components in this new computer build, and the flexibility of being fully modular means that I can plug in the EXACT number and configuration of power connectors that I need for my custom built computer and all of the components. EVGA makes SUPER high quality components, and this power supply is the best one I have ever purchased.

Greater than one weekI don’t know why PSU don’t have longer 24 pin connectors, but sometimes I have trouble with CPU 8pin, but it was long enough. I like that it has dedicated 8 pin connectors for the graphic cards that don’t split off. I have a 1000D and this behemoth barely fit so be warned. You’ll need 220mm of space.
