EvoShield PRO-SRZ Protective Wrist Guard Series

> 3 dayThe wrist guard has been updated since the last series and to be honest it works in some areas and doesnt work in others. It works in the fact that its a little bit thinner so its more breathable, I kept getting a rash from the previous version because the neoprene was thick. It doesnt work in that it feels like its going to move around and shift. Ive used it in 3 games so far and I havent had any problem with it moving so it could all me be in my head. The stitching leaves a lot to be desired. The pull tab for the guard is already starting to come undone. Its no be deal but you kind of want your moneys worth. I havent taken all hits to it directly (knock on wood) as I play 1st base and use it to protect my wrist from bad hops but it seems like its provides the great evoshield protection. The measurements are the same as the last series so it should fit the same. But I think due to it being thinner it feels bigger, but its not really. Like I said it could all be in my head. I just hope that it doesnt fall apart on me. Only time will tell.

Greater than one weekSon was hit in the wrist and we bought this to give him protection and confidence. Worked out well but I should have went up one size. Great product!

> 3 dayI hate to give this such a low score as I love my other Evoshield products. The first one of these that was delivered was torn so I returned it for a replacement. The second one (pictured) has loose stitching on the tab that is used to pull the guard onto your wrist. This is just poor quality control. Also, the newer model of these (black) is a much thinner neoprene than the older version (red). While the thinner version is much lighter on your wrist it certainly isnt as robust as the older thicker version. The wrist guard feels really comfortable but the quality just isnt there. I expected more from Evoshield.

> 3 dayOur son is a 13 year old catcher. We got 2 of these for him. He wears them on both arms, protective sides on the insides of his wrists. His confidence blocking balls has gone up significantly. They make a huge difference for him. When he’s at bat, he twists them around so the protective side faces the pitcher. LOVE these. The downside is that they STINK. The sweat gets trapped in there... they smelled funky after the first use. Pretty gross now. BUT, they work so well that it’s totally worth it. I have thrown them in the washer... doesn’t totally get the stink out, but they’ve held up well.
