I thought I had a faulty thermostat, but when swapping that didnt fix my problem of my dryer lighting for a few minutes then turning the heat off and never fully drying my clothes, I noticed that the heating element would come on but wouldnt reignite. Replacing the solenoids fixed the problem and I was shocked at how much more efficiently my dryer is running than it was even before I noticed there was a problem. Feels like having a new dryer.

watched a ton of youtube vids to fix dryer…….what 99 % of them don’t tell you is to check that front hole first….front of the dryer, pop that little square off and look to see what it does…….i bought everything for the back of the dryer…turns out it was under….make sure it gets gas first…..save your self a lot of time…..but the good thing is i bought and learned how to use an electric tester so…..and it was the very last thing i had to check…thought i was doing it wrong until that last check and the coil was it…works great for $11 bucks…..

Fixed my gas dryer issue where the flame would start then go out. Easy 20 min fix. Product is still working after a month. Would buy again. Verified with a ohm meter

Just like OEM and works great. Found a web site that said 98% of gas dryer flame problems were the coils on the gas valve. I ordered a second set so the replacement set will last forever.

My Whirlpool gas dryer had stopped drying properly. I tried replacing thermostats and it didnt help. The dryer would initially ignite then would later just blow cold air leaving the clothes damp. I checked the solenoids coils with a multimeter and they seemed fine. But I read somewhere that they can fail to open valves once they heat up. Once I replaced the set of coils in my aging Whirlpool gas dryer, it dried just fine in one cycle. These new coils looked thicker than the original ones so they will probably last longer. They were easy to install once I opened the front panel and removed the drum; the only hard part was having to remove the drum and disengage the drive belt in order to access the screws. BTW, I had noticed before that the dryer would take multiple cycles to dry even small loads then eventually would not dry at all until I finally fixed the problem by replacing the coils. Hope this helps.

I was doubtful this would solve my issue as the original coils appeared to test good - I figured I would give it a shot anyway as these were so inexpensive. Once again the parts were here in 24 hours - installed, and the dryer operational. Very happy with them; original issue is that the dryer would ignite, but then extinguish randomly after a few minutes leaving the clothes drying with only cold air. Super easy to install. Excellent!
