f you draw Just 2A from all (8) connectors the input line burns up because the wire size is too small more copper please!

so i purchased a 4 cam monitoring system@harbor freight, to fully benefit from the system there is an option to 8 cam it, but the individual cam and power hook ups that come in the merchandise box only provide for the initial hook up of 4 cams; doubling up was a breeze here, 10x much

Use to power multiple cameras from one power supply

After mere seconds of using this to power a 12v device drawing about 19 watts, this wire started heating up drastically and immediately; so much so that the voltage actually started dropping (due to the increased resistance wire acquires as it heats up), and if I left it plugged in, there may well have been a fire hazard. This is typical of ultra-cheap cables manufactured by corporate scammers. They add tons of plastic insulation around the wire to make the consumer think they are heavy gauge wires, when in fact they are miniscule wires. Just cut one open and look at what you find: a few practically microscopic strands of copper. (I did precisely that to have a look; 90% plastic insulation... enough insulation to handle a few hundred volts! Whereas these are only for 12v projects...)

These adapters came in very handy. I run many cameras and these adapters came in very handy for powering them up.
