> 24 hourWhen they work, these are excellent lights--with or without the clamp. However, two of four recently purchased units have had faulty in-line switches due to poor contact within the switch housing. Thus, sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. These are brand new lights. Completely unreliable as a result. Wont purchase again until Exo Terra fixes this problem, and I have notified their Customer Service folks.

> 24 hourI couldnt get the clamp to attach to the light, so I just had to rig it to hang up. And then it was all good! I turned it on and my birds seem to like it. :-)

> 24 hourGreat dome light. The mirror inside the dome is a really great idea when your using low wattage bulbs to get the right amount of heat or uvb. And I also like the orange light on the switch to indicate if its on or off.
