If you follow simple instructions, then this is a great tank! Just dont put water bowls over heating pads!

Love the multi point access. Also the screen is very sturdy, my cat (10lbs) often sits on the top screen to watch my gecko and has yet to damage it (several months in now)

Wanted to love this but after 2 months, the screen on the lid is ripping away from the plastic.

I love it and so does my leopard Gecko. Normally I’m too lazy to write a review but this product deserves my effort.

1. Comes in a GIANT box. This is only because of the packing material which makes sure the glass doesnt break or crack during delivery. But seriously, this thing was huge! I could barely fit it through the front door. 2. The backing is made of painted Styrofoam, which can be very noisy if your pets like to crawl on top of it (which if they are lizards, they probably will). 3. There are two small slits at the bottom of the Styrofoam backing. They are used feed the wires for thermometers and such. However, they large enough for bugs and smaller pets to crawl into. Ive had to remove the backing a few times because my leopard gecko would crawl under it and get stuck between the backing and the glass. I tried to seal it with tape, but the Styrofoam wont hold it, plus the irregular rocky shape makes it very awkward to do so. I just ended up just removing it completely because crickets would hide behind there as well. All in all its still a great terrarium and it arrived in perfect condition. The small details mentioned above werent enough to warrant removing a star. Just be sure to keep these things in mind if you end up ordering it!

I agonized over finding the right tank for a reasonable price. I settled in this one. It arrived quickly (even on Easter Sunday) and during the pandemic when non essential items generally take longer. It came assembled, no flaws, and no broken glass. The front doors are a little tricky, but as long as you close them simultaneously it locks well. Over all, I definitely recommend this terrarium.

Not sure about “thickness” but the tank is as expected/as I have seen in stores. I don’t love the backing/stryofoam design, but it’s not a deal breaker. Our leopard gecko is much happier being addressed/handled from the front rather than above.

Went to replace this tank after losing it during a move... I was shocked! The price is at least twice as much now as it used to be. Ridiculous! But Amazon will take $125 off the price if I apply for their credit card?? Wth, Amazon?! Loved the tank... but it’s not worth $250!!! People, they can have sold this tank for half of that. Don’t let them gouge you to that ridiculous degree.

Very very disappointed in this tank. Our juvenile corn snake escaped this tank once. We found him, put him back, and put tape over any cracks and holes to be sure he wouldn’t get out. But still. He got out. Have torn the house upside down and looked everywhere. No where to be found. Don’t get this tank.
