I got this for my baby albino corn snake. She already has a ton of other artificial plants in her 40 gallon tank, but I like adding more to make her feel secure. I ordered this because I honestly just needed to spend another $5 bucks to get same day shipping for another item. I gave this item 4 stars because mine came flattened and I have tried everything to make it fluff up like others in their reviews, but for some reason mine stays looking like a pancake hahaha. I don’t mind it too much though because it’s easy to clean, the leaves stay on, and most importantly my little snake loves slithering into at night. It’s definitely on the smaller side, which was expected. Overall, I like it and would buy more, but again, mine just won’t fluff up.

The suction doesnt really stay on as well with the ones I have. Some days they would randomly fall off the glass of my snakes enclosure so now I just have them laying down on the substrate. However, they are easy to clean and provide enrichment for my little guy to climb on!

Exo Terra Plastic Terrarium Plant, Small, Amapallo The ones I got look like they need to clean their injection mold. Theres quite a bit of flat excess plastic bits sticking out off of the stems and whatnot. Also I like that these are plastic and not silk, thats why I bought them, but these have kind of a rough texture on the surface of the leaves that negates the whole easy to rinse clean factor which is why I prefer plastic over silk to begin with. Things stick to rough surfaces more. Also the texture of the leaves looks more fake being rough. The very similar Zoo Med ones are smooth plastic and didnt have all the excess plastic where it didnt belong so kind of preferring those even though they are a few dollars more. Not sure, maybe the rough texture will suit your needs or perhaps has some purpose like for little frogs to get a grip on or something, or perhaps to retain more water drops for critters that will only drink from what drips off the leaves? Personally I have a snake who likes to poop in her water bowl that she then continues to swim in repeatedly while doing a triathlon around the terrarium so Im interested in low maintenance cleaning and disinfecting. And she climbs on, in, and through this Exo Terra one and and the Zoo Med ones just the same even though they are just meant to be some background cover and shes twice as long as the vine. Garter snakes are like the deranged kitten personalities of the snake world. All in all these are not too bad and really a great deal for the money, personally I just prefer the other smooth surface ones I mentioned. *EDIT* The small manufacturing defects I mentioned above arent really noticeable hanging in the terrarium unless you examine them like a QC inspector. And my garter snake has taken a strange liking to them for some reason. She climbs in this and the similar Zoo Med one I personally like more but she actually curls up and sleeps under this one even though theres no hide or anything else of note in that area, so I cant get rid of it and bumped it up to 5 stars.

This plant is beautiful and the best length for my terrarium! I’m preparing for a crested gecko (waiting for the next expo!) and have gotten about half of the things I need so far. This plant looks very lush and beautiful against the cork bark. Be sure to wash it thoroughly/soak in warm water for a while just for cleanliness sake! I was a bit worried when I saw it just had one suction cup but it is VERY sturdy. I was fighting for my life trying to take it off after the first application!! I highly recommend it. Some of the leaves looked a little torn or roughened up but it’s barely noticeable and mosrly the back ones.
