Originally I was planning to use this in my sink, but when I saw how large it was I thought I would prefer to use it as a hot pad since it is heat-resistant silicone. There are times when I do a lot of cooking or baking and it’s very convenient to have a large mat like this to hold my dishes. It’s sort of like a trivet since it’s elevated underneath with nubbins. It allows food to cool down while my counters are protected, and it’s nice enough looking to serve off as well. When I’m done using it I simply roll it up and store it for next time. I may use it in my sink, but the fact that it can hold a couple of cookie trays or larger baking dishes makes me think I will keep it for that.

I really like the grey color that this came in - it goes well with all of the different colors in my kitchen. The mat is thicker than I was expecting, which is nice, and the little nubs on the back keep it off the sink and allow plenty of water flow. This is much nicer than the plain metal sink protector that came with my farmhouse sink. Would recommend this to my best friend, for sure.

I just did a complete kitchen remodel including a new stainless steel sink. This sink mat arrived just in time. I have a double sink, therefore I cut this mat in half. There was enough width of this product so I had plenty mat for both sides. The mat is of good quality and I’m expecting many years of use out of it. It is a grey color and is not too noticeable in my stainless steel sink. It is pretty thick and I’m able to rest my dishes on top of it when washing or scrubbing. It is definitely a good investment as I can avoid scratching and marring my sinks finish. So far it’s been pretty rugged and seems to be holding up well. I’m definitely happy with this product. So my boyfriend cut this for our sinks before I got a chance to get a picture of the whole thing in one piece but this mat is great! Its very soft and flexible and was plenty big to cut in 2 pieces to fill both of our sink basins. We have front drains rather than middle drains and it seems like most mats out there have the round holes in them for middle drains. I love that this one doesnt assume any specific drain location so its totally customizable for whatever your need is. It was easy to cut, we used scissors. The mat has nubs on the bottom to keep it elevated a bit off the bottom of the sink and it has some ridges on top too. Seems like good quality, we will see how it holds up but it is definitely doing its job protecting the bottom of our sink!

I think every kitchen should have one of these for sure!!

We ordered this to protect the sink and to prevent things in the sink from blocking the drain. But our dishwasher is broken and since there’s just two of us we’re not in a hurry to replace it. We have a drying pad on the counter by the sink. My wife put this mat on the drying pad and then puts the washed dishes on the mat. Perfect! The dishes dry faster and seem to have fewer water spots.

This is a nice sink protector. It is made well. I will use it on my countertop instead of my sink.

I am very happy with this sink protector. Ive actually been using mine on the counter beside the sink. It works great and doesnt slip around like other brands do. I am going to buy another one for the other side of my sink.

slightly larger (about a quarter inch each direction) than stated which was fine with me but I can see ebing an issue for some. It would be easy enough to trim them down if needed though, a wide solid border would prevent damaging it when trimming. Sturdy and expect it to hold up a long time. The nodules hold it just high enough off the sink so everything still drains fine, no built up water trapped by the mat.

I have one of these that I use in my kitchen sink and I love how it protects it because its a stainless steel sink. I ordered this one to use in our RV because you can customize this one based on the drain location and sink size.
