Greater than one weekThe fitment was spot on and super easy to swap out. The plastics for the LEDs lights to shine through for the charge light and profiles was a bit of a pain to put in place but thats just due to the small size and how precise you have to be with pushing the parts in place to avoid possibly breaking them since they are friction fit. The color matched what I expected and rubberized coating feels nice. Only con I really have is how quickly the finish gets oily looking. It cleans up easily with just a wipe down from a microfiber towel but lord help you if you have sweaty hands or naturally oily skin.

> 3 dayI was concerned that the original faceplate was going to be difficult to remove because thats what quite a few reviewer said but once again I should stop trusting that people are actually following the instructions or taking their time. However I did both and watch a few YouTube video and it was extremely easy to remove. I bought some other mods from extreme rate that I had to take many more parts off but all were pretty simple when following someone step by step in a video, even if I was a little nervous when do it. Once all the parts were put back on the faceplate just click right into place. I was hoping I wouldnt miss the grips on the original elite series 2 faceplate and even bought some new ones to put on if it really bothered me cause my hands tend to sweat a lot but I couldnt even tell they were no longer there. The back ones are the important ones and I got some red ones to match and also new the grip was better too. I wish they offered a lot more faceplates to choose from and collect cause I would buy more to swap out every now and then but I am happy with the one I got and thats all the matters.

Greater than one weekThe shell itself looks amazing. It comes with a tool and the little ring things as promised. There werent really any instructions, though. I checked YouTube and the company put a video there . . . but when I tried to do what they were showing, it felt like I was going to break my brand new controller, so I stopped. I kept the product because I may change my mind later. I decided that a vinyl sticker was closer to my comfortable level of risk.

Great custom look for those looking to add another unique aspect to their elite 2 controller. I got the red and black and looks awesome. Highly recommend to those looking to add that extra something.
