I, a beginner quilter, was able to follow the instructions and actually make a quilt for my 4 year old granddaughter, that she choose from the book! I was amazed it turned out so cute.

The 3 yard quilt books are great for fabric shopping, so that when stuff jumps into your cart at the fabric store, you can have them cut one yard each of three fabrics (add 1/2 yard to one fabric if you want to make double fold binding) and pick your pattern when you get home, and you can make a darling quilt! Don’t forget the fabric for the backing if you don’t already have it on hand at home.

I purchased this book to make quick quilts to send to an orphanage. I have three of the patterns and lives the way they out. High recommend this book.

These 3 yard quilt patterns are genius! You can use any 3 yards of fabric to make a nice sized lap quilt (46 x 60) and the books also contain instructions to increase to a twin or a queen/king size if you want. Everything is laid out simple and easy, and the method theyve developed to strip piece quilts instead of sewing individual blocks is ingenious! I made a quilt top in 3 days and Im a beginner at quilting. Highly recommend these books, and you can also find Fabric Cafe on YouTube with instructional videos. Its a small business and the owners are so nice!
