Ive never had sewing scissors before and these make everything so much easier. These are very well made and cut super easily. I love the snipper too. It was very easy to undo stitches with it. Appreciate the nice measuring tape too. This makes sewing a lot more fun.

Id never bothered getting fabric scissors before because they always seemed so overpriced and kind of pointless. I finally caved with these guys and the difference is immeasurable. These are heavy, good quality, and they feel super official-- and of course, they cut through fabric and thread beautifully. The little pair is super sharp too, which have been super helpful. The snips, seam ripper, and measuring tape are all fairly standard, but still work great!

The scissors are definitely not light weight, and quite sharp. They came well oiled and there was no trace of rust. While I have not been able to give them a thorough testing, and probably wont be able to for some time, I did attempt cutting through several layers of fabric, and I had no trouble doing so. The handle is comfortable, and despite the thickness (about .5 inches) of the layers of fabric, I only experienced minor discomfort, and I find it difficult to believe that any pair of scissors could have reduced the discomfort any more. Of course, a couple of layers of fabric didnt cause any discomfort. The other scissors are also more than sufficient for their use, leaving the ends of thread with a very clean cut rather than something ragged. No small fibers sticking out from the cut end to give you difficulty threading a needle. The seam ripper is nothing special, it works as well as any seam ripper Ive used. It is of course a nice inclusion for anyone who doesnt have one as they are perfectly suited for their task and I use them to completely remove annoying tags on shirts and what not. My only complaint, and for me its not really a complaint, is with the measuring tape. The one I got has a couple of manufacturing flaws, as can be seen in the two photos I took. Personally, I already have a measuring tape, and this once will suffice as a backup. I only mention it because some people may be purchasing this kit in part because of the inclusion of the measuring tape. I will say that this is likely not common, and you almost certainly wont end up with one that is bad in any way. Other than that, the tape is a fairly common type of measuring tape. Im not sure of the exact makeup of it, but the outside seams to be plastic. Theres definitely some other material, maybe a fabric or fiberglass or something, that the plastic is either covering or integrated with. It doesnt stretch, at least not without an unreasonable amount of force being used, and should last a lifetime and longer so long as its not abused. Should I experience any issues, I will update my review.

I just used them tonight for the first time to cut upholestry fabric. They are fantastic for the price I paid. They cut through the fabric with ease. I would recommend these hands down! I was worried they would be too heavy but, surprisingly they were not. As others have noted be sure to wipe them off as they come oiled and will transfer to your fabric and possibly ruin it. Very pleased with my purchase!
