Thick but soft, it will do great for my project

Not a true 4x4 inch cut square some pieces are much smaller. I purchased three packages of these for a wedding favor I planned on making for my niece. Very disappointed in the product completely. As far as softness that is true too soft actually does not feel like felt at all it feels more like a mushy type of material. I plan on returning the packages for a full refund.

Needed the perfect background for my wedding reception tables numbers.

I didn;t want to be bothered cutting felt which always causes me problems so this was perfect.

This is a great size to use for making embroidered coasters. Soft and durable.
