Very easy to install. You dont really need any tools, just something to apply pressure to the memory cover latch . The memory can only go in one direction, so its a very easy, powerful upgrade. The computer recognized the memory and its been working great since day one.

I bought my Mac mini without upgrading the Ram a year ago, it would have been an extra $600 to go from 8gb up to 32gb. After a while of using the mini, I decided Id look into opening up my mini and upgrading the RAM. Id heard it was an involved process, and it was, but still very easy to accomplish. Ill admit I was very nervous to open up my mini, Im not strongly knowledgeable with the insides of computers. However, if I can install this RAM in my Mac mini, anyone can install this RAM.

Decided to upgrade my IMac memory myself and save some money. Went for the 2 sticks of 32gb so I can still add more later if needed. After the install my iMac is blazing fast. Everything comes up instantly and everything runs super smooth. Definitely recommend upgrading your ram if possible.
