Fairy Tales Rosemary Daily Kids Hair Conditioner, 32 Fl. Oz (Pack of 1)

I started using the Fairy Tales products when my kids were in preschool - they both have a lot of hair and I wanted to avoid lice if at all possible. We used the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner for years. I ran out and took for granted that maybe it was a placebo, so I didn’t reorder...and then BOOM - both of my kids got lice. Super lice! We couldn’t get rid of them with Nix or Rid. They just wouldn’t die. We used the Fairy Tales lice treatment on an almost daily basis, and it saved us - we didn’t have to use poison on the kids (that wasn’t killing the lice anyway). With diligence, we were able to finally get rid of them. And we placed an auto subscription for the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner so we would never run out. Prevention is the easiest way to get rid of lice! Super lice are a crazy pain to get rid of. Save yourself some (or lots! of) aggravation and use the preventative products to keep your sanity and keep lice away. I highly recommend the Fairy Tales line of products - they work, AND smell good!

After reading online that 34% of school aged kids have lice at any given time during the school year, I decided it was time to take preventative measures. I talked to a few people I knew and discovered that most of them weren’t doing anything to prevent lice, but those that were all said that they were using Fair Tales products . I can’t yet speak to whether these products actually work for preventing lice because my kids have not been exposed to it since we started using it (at least not that I know of), but I can say that I love that this product is all natural and organic. I can also say that I like the smell and that it makes all of our hair feel clean and look shiny. Even IF it doesn’t actually work to prevent lice, I’d buy it again for those reasons alone. I just wish it was cheaper because at these prices I may not be able to afford to buy it all the time.

Ive been using this conditioner (and the associated shampoo) on my daughter since the beginning of the school year. Lice has been rampant in her classroom, yet despite weekly notifications of new cases, she has not gotten it to date. She has very long hair as well, so lice is definitely a concern. Bonus, the products smell really good and clean her hair well.

I love this product, or more importantly, my girls love it! My only complaint is that the large bottle does not come with a pump (you have to purchase it separately). For the price it should just be standard with the packaging. Who wants to have to handle a large bottle with wet hands while trying not to pour more than needed from the container. For the price the company should go the extra mile with the packaging!

This product is excellent. We have used it for years on my 7 and 4 year old daughters. It conditions extremely well and is a lice preventative. I like the large bottle and we have had several bottles of this in the past. I would say the only thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars is that they pump that comes with it is less robust than past versions have been. Still seems to be functional, but seems less substantial in strength.

So far so good. I have even used it, the aroma doesnt stay too long that it bothers me as I hate citronella. My daughter constantly kept getting lice at achool, thankfully I had enough and I got this.

I guess Ill never know if my kids would not have lice or if this is what is helping to repel them. But I figure it is worth the gamble. The cost of this shampoo/conditioner, it is less expensive and time consuming than managing lice. The conditioner does work nicely at making my daughters hair easy to comb after washing.

UPDATE: When purchased in 10/2018 both the shampoo and the conditioner came with pumps!!! Thank you so much for adding these. They are great and help tremendously with the bottles being so big and little hands. The only sad thing is I purchased pumps when I ordered because I knew wed need them so now we have extra. Oh well, it was still a nice jester on the companys part. Thanks again!! ORIGINAL: We found out that a cousin that was at our house playing had head lice, a few days after the fact. We did a preventative Rid treatment (against my preference because of all the chemicals) because I did not want to deal with head lice in our home. Everyone was treated with Rid, we checked every other day with combs, then did a second treatment and thankfully, haven’t seen a thing. I purchased these for daily use throughout the school year. Having a false alarm scare was all I needed to know that head lice is really not something I want to deal with. The smell is really nice, and everyone in the house is using this with the shampoo. Hopefully it really will work well!!

I have been buying this product for over two years. I highly recommended for lice prevention. There was a scare in my childs school and when I asked the teacher what I could do she recommended this product. I have been using it successfully. I also bought the shampoo and repelling spray. I use all three. This product was very appealing to me because its has nontoxic or medicated ingredients. It has a very pleasant smell and makes the hair shine.

They wrapped the entire bottle in plastic so that it would not open.... wonderful idea. I was worried it would spill but the plastic kept the pump top closed. Very pleased. The conditioner is great, this is our second bottle. I use it every school night to keep my 5 yr old from getting lice.
