> 24 hourWorks well to protect and soften the dry hoof. However, the product is difficult to get out of the bottle even when using the brush. And if the temp is below 50 it is even more difficult to get out, and the opening is not large enough to use a spoon or other object. I like the smell and have used this as a chew stop solution when nothing else was not available.

> 24 hourI have a gelding who has hooves that get dry & crack really easily. When I use Rain Maker I see results fairly quickly. I generally apply this before & after a ride & give it a few minutes to absorb before his hooves get covered in dirt. Even with a dirt layer it still seems to work fine. It does what its supposed to, & if it is used often enough it keeps his hooves from cracking further, & you can see the difference so im very pleased with that. I would buy this again & would also recommend it.

> 24 hourMy horse suffered a hoof puncture during the long WA wet winter. Once it healed, my vet, who specializes in equine podiatry, recommended Rain Maker. It works wonderfully, maintaining the proper balance of moisture in the hoof. And it made the WA mud slide right off when I rinsed his hooves. Doesnt smell great but the consistency is perfect for application, at least when temps are over 40°. Below that, it tends to become too thick to spread easily. Overall a quality product and Amazon has the very best price. Ive seen it in local feed stores for as much as $27 per bottle.
