Greater than one weekI was looking for something for our great-nephew who is 1 1/2 years old. This item got great reviews here on Amazon so i purchased it. When it arrived I was very skeptical. It just looked way too simple even for a baby. BUT I was happily surprised that babies LIKE simple things! He immediately figured out what to do with it and even started putting other things in it in addition to the spongy block things that came with it. It was a great hit and I’m glad I bought it!

> 3 dayBaby loves this toy. I would have liked it better if the pieces inside were silicone or something else softer (to help with the teething and also because, well, babies put everything in their mouths!). But it’s an interesting toy and keeps baby busy so I’d recommend it :)

> 3 dayI bought this thinking that it would be a helpful introduction to placing things inside something and then removing object. The objects that are provided are too large for tiny hands, are hard plastic and hollow. They feel cheap. They are hard to grasp. Even if they were squishy plastic they would be easier to grasp for tiny hands. Consequently shapes have never been played with. Its also hard for my 1 year old to place any object inside of square because his fingers get all caught in the woven stretchy bands. And his fingers get caught in them pushing his hand in to grasp anything that is inside of the square. At the moment it is only used as a holder to dry all of his animal bath squeeze toys. Not what it was intended for but I guess it works. Would never by it again or for a friends child.

> 3 dayMy son is one and loves to shake this. His grasp isn’t strong enough yet to pull the toys out, I kind of thought they would be squishy but they’re solid. I think it will be good for him to practice and strengthen his grasp.

> 3 dayI gave this to my grandson for his 1st birthday. Hes beyond rattles, yet not yet ready for many toddler toys. This was perfect! He so enjoys wopping the pieces into the box and then works hard to get them back out. Hes also tried to put other toys through the strings, some being too large to fit. Yay for early problem solving skills! Highly recommend!

> 3 dayMy son really likes this! It took him a little to figure out what to do with the shapes but once he figured it out around 12/13 months, he loved it!

> 3 dayMy little girl has learned to love this toy. At first around 4 months she would only shake it but couldn’t figure out how to get the blocks in or out. Around 6 months she started trying to reach inside for the blocks but was still a struggle. By 8 months she figured it out and she loves playing with it. It’s so amazing to watch them learn! I highly suggest this toy to other moms looking for toys to help their babies learn!

> 3 dayThis is my third toy from Fat Brain Toys and it did not disappoint. The quality is great and the colors are very vibrant. My 8-month-old son really enjoys taking the shapes in and out. The toy is challenging but not too overwhelming. This toy will be enjoyed for quite some time in our family.
