First time user of a Feather shavette razor - decided to go with the ProGuard to start - excellent one-pass results - this version suggested for sensitive skin and perhaps a bit less aggressive, for someone new to straight-style razors.

These blades provide a great shave with very little effort. The Professional blades are great for shaving 4+ days - 10 days of beard growth. I would tend to favor the ProGuard blades for less than 3 days of beard growth, shaving around the neck, and/or shaving around the nose and chin. I tried the Feather Lite Blades and found them a bit challenging as they are difficult to cut with and force the user to alter the angle of the shave. The Feather Super blades, in my view, lead to a larger portion of the blade extruding and are more prone to nicks while negotiating slight imperfections, bumps or blemishes in skin. So, for my purposes (shaving once to twice per week), the Professional blades are excellent, as are the ProGuard blades.

Can never go wrong with these

These blades are just as sharp as feather professional blades but have extra protection. I have used feather pro blades and I’ll admit they do work well but these give me a hassle free, close shave without any risk of nicks or cuts. I can shave with these on auto pilot in my single edge safety razor. Very nice blades and long lasting, I can shave about 12 times with one blade.
