Feather Artist Club ProSuper Razor Blades 20 Count

I’ve used the pro guards, the professional, and these “super” blades and these “super” blades are my favorite. Ridiculously sharp and they seem to last about as long as the other blades. I get two or three shaves before the blade starts to knick me and needs replacement. My hair is pretty tough as I’ve shaved every day for the past 20+ years so your mileage may vary. For reference, I use these with my Feather DX.

Too much of the blade is extruding as compared to other feather blades. Doesnt handle bumps or other imperfections in skin well. Can easily nick yourself if you hit a skin bump. Doesnt generate as close a shave as the Feather ProGuard blades. Needs multiple passes to generate a close shave. Stick with the Feather ProGuard or Professional blades, in my view! This may be individual preference, though. Perhaps the Super Blades are better equipped to handle thicker beards. I typically shave twice per week and find that the Professional and ProGuard blades better serve my shaving needs.

Like anything else a little care goes a long way after shaving I rinse well and spray a little baby oil on blade keeps edge from oxidizing getting many numerous shaves from one blade

Avoid this if youre using an iKon El Jefe. The blade will fit but will definitely WAY too aggressive. Otherwise very sharp blade and great quality.

These bad boys are like surgical sharp. The packaging alone you realize these are not your typical razors. I should have read the reviews here before straight blade shaving my face this morning. I have a 2 inch gash on the lower part of my cheek because I moved too quickly. This is not my first time shaving this way but these blades ABSOLUTELY require 100% of your attention. Other than my slip up they POWERED through my beard and I am cleaner shaven than a billiards ball. Recommended but PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION.

I was a bit hesitant to try these as a beginner with the straight razor technique, so I used the regular version for the first few shaves. After a couple of weeks, I decided to give the super blades a try. I actually had fewer nicks and and far less irritation with these than the regular artist club blades. If you have a steady hand and decent technique, these are no more dangerous and will give you a better shave.

They work as intended and last some time.

Razor is very sharp and gives a close shave. However it is not as smooth as I had hoped. For those that want a good combination of sharp and smooth I would recommend the feather artist Pro razor however, for those wanting the closest shave possible with this cartridge loading straight edge razor, I would recommend this feather artist super razor.

Great blades a little to clese of a shave, easy to cut yourself compaired to the standard professional blades.
