I ordered the Feather blades with high expectations. However when I used them, to say that they underperformed would be a gross understatement. Feather blades are reknowned for their sharpness but the ones I received were anything but. Being an Asian staying in the tropics, I have only a light beard and most blades are able to easily handle my three-day growth, shaving off most if not all of my stubble at the first or second pass. Regretfully, I have to say that the Feather blades performed badly. They failed to remove most of the growth and I had to make about four to five passes, and about two to three re-applications of my shave soap, before I could get an acceptable shave out of the blade. And left me with a few I thought perhaps the first Feather blade I used could have been a lemon, or an outlier so to speak. However I’ve tried three blades from the pack and so far all of them have been the same. I had a previous experience using a Feather deposable shaver that I took from an airline and even that worked better than the blades I bought. I am utterly disappointed. In short, the Feather blades I received did not perform to expectations. In fact they could not even compare than lesser known brands such as Derby.

Im stuck with this junk, these blades are old stock that has been cooked Off in in a ware house or box truck somewhere. The wax dots are cooked dry and hard and the edges a blown with age, degraded and hacksaw rough. Im screwed but you dont have to be. Last time Im buying razor blades from amazon. Maggard or Italian Barber have fresh stock. Im really upset with this vendor pushing garbage

I bought the 100 blades deal not the 200 as described. Feather Razor is the best. This is the best deal by far. $0.20 per blade. I wish I have friends that are using double edge blade like me so we can split the blades.

It seems I get a super smooth shave every few blades only and average with most others. The ones that work best are awesome but only about 1 out of 4 or 5 blades. I discard blades every 2 or 3 shaves to get the best results. For the money, I think I got better results with Astras. A pack of 100 Astras is ridiculously cheap below 8 dollars. Im not sure if they are genuine at that price. Will have to wait and see.

Feather is by far the best blades you can use and the most reasonable purchase would be in packaging of 200 as each blades cost cheaper. Well crafted blades make your shave smoother, better and easier. it lasts longer than other blades as well. You can buy the best Double Edge Razor/ Safety Razor but you will be disappointed unless you use a quality blade. This blade gives the quality that stands out. Enjoy your shave with the sharpest blades man has been able to make for DE/Safety Razors.
