Cautionary Tales
> 3 dayFirst thing to know about these projectors is you CANNOT AirPlay protected stuff (like Netflix content) from your iPhone wirelessly. That isnt a limitation of the projector; its coming from the Netflix side (the same way you cant screenshot movies or series while youre watching). To use Netflix from your phone, your phone needs to be wired into the projector somehow. Meaning you either have your phone connected via HDMI to the projector (using an adapter) or you can connect a laptop to the projector (HDMI to HDMI port) and play stuff on it. I learned that one the hard way after trying fruitlessly to play Netflix right from my phone before finally just using my laptop to connect. Then I was off to the movies. The projector does a great job. No, not IMAX quality but really decent, in my opinion, and you can use a remote to interact just like with a TV. I got this to use outside on my patio as summer approaches and Im very happy with the setup.

Greater than one weekIt does actually appear to be 9000L, at least compared to the only other projector I have that claims to be the same. Unfortunately, they both use the same frequency for their remote, so theres been issues trying to use them in the same building. Weve already had a few problems with the input changing or it turning on/off since our neighbor has something similar. Otherwise, this seems to be working well so far. The fans arent too loud (the other 9000L projector is louder) and the projector is lightweight. It comes with a carrying case and extra cords for audio. The built-in speakers sound rough, but its about what youd expect for its current listed price of $89.99. Youll want to use a different sound system for it to get a good experience from it. The only real complaint I have about it is that all the photos show the lens set in further, and it makes it look like the little sliding door cover should be able to actually cover and protect that lens. But it does not. The lens sticks out further than the listing photos show, which prevents the door from covering it, despite the door appearing to be designed to be movable to cover the lens. It doesnt come with a lens cover otherwise. This has been the only projector Ive come across that didnt come with a lens cover. Im a bit annoyed about that, since I ordered it hoping the little door cover would be more convenient than having to place a cap on the projector every time.

> 3 daybright crisp image. I am a fan of the pop out foot for hight adjustment. 1 star lost because right side of screen is slightly out of focus with no way to adjust it and the keystone is loose and wanders. If it moves and shouldnt, use duct tape. Still, for under $50 there is no better video option.

> 3 dayIm quite happy with this projector as it is perfect for outdoor camping trips. It helps to keep the family entertained while sitting out by the fire at night. It was easy to set up and the picture quality was pretty good. If youre in search of a decent projector to take with you on your next camping trip, get this one! Its also great to have at home!

> 3 dayFor a projector that has such good quality, comes with all of the chords, and comes with a movie screen, it is such a steal of a price!! I only had to buy an extension chord at Walmart for like $2 to reach my outlet. I am overall very satisfied with this purchase!

> 3 dayI love it! It’s like having my own little theater! I think to myself… I am saving so much money. Why go to a pay theater when I can watch movies in the convenience of my own home and I can even make my own popcorn! It’s a great projector and projects a great picture.

> 3 dayI received the projector today. To be honest. I was a little skeptical. However, to my surprise. The projector worked exactly has described. I put a movie on an USB. It played with no problems. I hooked up a Roku stick and was able to watch Netflix, Peacock, and HBO Max. I have not tried a DVD yet, but dont expect any problems. I didnt expect a thousand-dollar projector. I must say that the picture was viewable even with the lights on although a little washed out. Certainly watchable. With the lights off. The picture quality was very good. If I had to pick something. I would say I wish it had a screw for a tripod. I have already advised my sister and brother to order one. Update: The projector still works well, and I am happy with it. However, when I hook up a DVD player using HDMI. There is not voice. I reached out to the manufacturer, Vilinice, and go no response. Even though the booklet that comes with the projector says questions are quickly answered. I will agree that for the price the projector is worth it. However, I will NOT buy anything from that manufacturer again. By the way, if I hook up the DVD player using the component wires. It works fine. However, the picture quality is not quite as good.
