> 24 hourI think this is a great starter projector that will work for just about anyone, including someone looking for a projector to start their home theater setup. It would take an actual projector screen rather than just a painted white wall (unless you used paint specifically engineered for that purpose). On an oil based paint, the picture looks a little off, but still is very good. I would recommend this as a starting projector on which to base future upgrades. There are a lot of expensive projectors out there, so its best to figure out where you want to go from an affordable baseline unless your budget is large.

Cautionary Tales
> 24 hourFirst thing to know about these projectors is you CANNOT AirPlay protected stuff (like Netflix content) from your iPhone wirelessly. That isnt a limitation of the projector; its coming from the Netflix side (the same way you cant screenshot movies or series while youre watching). To use Netflix from your phone, your phone needs to be wired into the projector somehow. Meaning you either have your phone connected via HDMI to the projector (using an adapter) or you can connect a laptop to the projector (HDMI to HDMI port) and play stuff on it. I learned that one the hard way after trying fruitlessly to play Netflix right from my phone before finally just using my laptop to connect. Then I was off to the movies. The projector does a great job. No, not IMAX quality but really decent, in my opinion, and you can use a remote to interact just like with a TV. I got this to use outside on my patio as summer approaches and Im very happy with the setup.

The color space is the range of colors that a video projector can produce. To simplify a bit color gamut defines the maximum saturation for the primary colors, red, blue, and green that the device can display. Rec. 2020 supports a wider gamut than Rec. 709 and DCI-P3 so projector is able to project a color that has a more pure hue and higher saturation. So your greens are more "green", your blues are more "blue", and your reds are more "red."

- Uniformity is a measure of how uniform the brightness is across the screen. Generally speaking, the brightest part of the projector will be the central of the screen, and the darkest part will be the edge of the screen; therefore, when the uniformity is higher, the consistency from the center to the edge of the screen will be higher, and when the uniformity is lower, the edge will be blurrier.
