Have used this product on two different English bridle leather items, hand-made by two different / unrelated people. Previously these items had a nice sheen. After using the Fiebings they are both VERY dull. And yes, I buffed/rubbed with a dry cloth, per the instructions on the bottle. I bought this product because one of the items had gotten wet and was a bit dry. The Fieblings didnt re-moisten it either. Overall, very dissatisfied with this product. I had horses for years, and Im well used to cleaning / conditioning high quality leather items. That was 20+ years ago. Cant recall products used then, and perhaps they are no longer even around. But Fiebings wasnt one of them and thank goodness...because its pretty much c-r-a-well, you know the rest.

No product in package. Picture from amazon shows the bubble wrap from inside. I reordered because I need this for bootblack stand. It works great.

I think the product will perform very well, but the sprayer does not work properly making it difficult to apply.

Ive used almost everything from Lexol to Mothers, to Hide Food and this is the best in my opinion. I use it on all my leathers, from cases to holsters and no other product comes close. At less than $13 for a quart, with Prime shipping its an excellent value

Ive used Fiebings Leather products on my leather furniture for about 6 years now. The 4-way Leather Care seems to do what the label says it will. I live in a very dry climate and the leather has stayed soft and supple.

Ordered this for shoes, but thought wed use it on the western gear too. All of our leather saddles had previously been conditioned with a highly reviewed all-in-one cleaner/conditioner product that left them with a chalky coating and totally parched for any sort of liquid. We were having to condition them a ton, and they just never looked good. Always dull, dry and dingy, which wasnt how they used to look before we used the last cleaner. I would say that this spray did slightly darken the leather. Not sure thats the proper word. More like brightened/made it look ricer and added moisture as opposed to actually changing the physical color. Was not greasy either. Just came out bright looking. Both rear cinch and latigo were super, super dry. They looked and felt fantastic when I was done using this. Perhaps the real testament to how well this product worked: I had hung up two very nice leather halters in our tack room. I let them sit, as having to condition them all the time was far more effort then tossing a low maintenance nylon halter on the horses. Due to the lovely high amounts of moisture we have here, both halters developed mold and started to dry very badly. By the time I had found them, I was totally convinced at least one of them would have to be tossed. I dried them in front of a heater very thoroughly and cleaned them with vinegar. I then conditioned them with Fiebings 4-way and they both look brand new. No mold. Soft and supple. No cracks or rot either. Both halters were given a new life. Since the product is a spray on, wipe off, we can use it easily and keep the leather in nice shape. Cant attest to how well it worked on the shoes, but suspect given the results weve had with the tack, likely wont be an issue.

    thank you

Fiebing"s most complete cleaner and conditioner for use on smooth leather. 4-Way Care preserves by water proofing and replenishing tanning oils; strengthens by coating each leather fiber with a blend of the finest leather oils and waxes; beautifies the finish by coating it with waxes which also aid in resisting dirt; and cleans fine leather including exotics because it contains leather soaps that float out dirt and grime.
