> 3 dayAs expected. Hoped to use it to smooth finish rough leather, which is not its stated purpose. Worked mediocre for that purpose.

Greater than one weekVery happy with results. After using Leather Sheen, I was used to and expecting discoloration even though I was hoping for better. Application was smooth and color dried very nice and even without major color change. Will definitely be using this going forward.

Greater than one weekUsed this to repair a leather tote. Blended very well with the tote’s camel color. I applied a couple of coats, but went back and applied coats again a few days later. Be patient with this. I used a q-tip to apply it. It might look clear, but it will dry the tan color.

> 3 dayLove fiebings tan kote for adding shine to saddle leather. Works great and super easy to use, just dip a paint brush in it and paint it on any smooth leather.

16-11-2024Excellent product I am only a hobbyist leatherworker, but from my research into what some of the professional leatherworkers whose work I admire are using, and having used the product myself, Tan Kote is now my top coat of choice. This product is easy to work with, its resists moisture and when dry, it gives my projects a nice mellow finish. Additionally, it allows you to clean and oil the leather when needed. It’s a bit pricey, in my opinion, but just about everything associated with leatherworking is. Although, it would be an added benefit if Fiebings could see their way clear in easing up on the price point.
