> 24 hourIf you are just starting out in HVAC, this is a decent meter for you. I have been in the industry for more than a decade and have used just about every meter brand. I have found fieldpiece to be the best bang for your buck. I bought this meter for my mother in law’s home in NM. She is always needing work done when we come to visit. The pros; has a magnetic base so you don’t have to hold the meter, the comes with decent test leads and needle test tips for testing pins on controls, has decent voltage ratings, the amp clamp reads to a tenth of an amp. The cons; accuracy is a little off, the no context volt detection (ncv) is not reliable on this model that I have experienced. So if you buy this meter, buy a shock stick to go with it.

> 24 hourVery good meter for low application. Compact and easy to use. Love the fact that it has temperature probe. Battery life last pretty long. I would recommended if you need a compact size meter.

> 24 hourContinuity doesnt always tone through closed switches like its battery power isnt quite enough, so for assured grinding I use my giant Fluke brick, but other than that, this meter is perfect for almost every task. Love the magnet on the back and the simplicity. My favorite multimeter, honestly. Especially for A/C work.

> 24 hourThe best mid-cost clamp meter you could buy. Yes, fluke is better but a Bentley is better than a Civic as well. Which can you afford when they both can get you to the same place. So unless you need very exact numbers this meter is good enough.
