> 24 hourFieldpiece quality control slipped through the cracks on this one. Shorted me the diode, so I couldnt even use the detector. For the price, thats unacceptable.

> 24 hourPurchased this to check for refrigerant leaks of course. I like that its compatible with all kinds of refrigerants and I tried it with soap bubbles: the claims are true, it didnt provide a false positive with bubbles. The key with an infrared vs a heated diode is you have to keep the tip moving. If it starts to indicate a leak, move away and move back again, then you can zero in.

> 24 hourQuickly finds the leak no matter how small. The illumination of the tip makes it easily recognizable. Extremely service friendly. Would highly recommend this item to any hvac professional

> 24 hourI hate looking for R410A leaks. This small molecule freon is a nightmare! This is the first leak detector I have bought out of a dozen that actually finds R410A leaks. Not worth a damn for R22 but my H10 works well there but the H10 has a very hard time finding R410A leaks. So, I have 2 devices for freon leaks and an ultra sonic to help with big leaks.
