FIFA Soccer 11 - Playstation 3

EA really knocked it out of the park on this one. Online gameplay is extremely smooth with no lag whatsoever. Everything about this game screams perfection. Do yourself a favor stop reading this and pick one up.

EA just has shut down the Online servers for this game, a shame, the game only have 2 years and worked very well, so you wont be able to play online, I advice you to buy only used copies, as new copies dont have any advantage now.

Totally worth the money I spent, plus its often on sale. Overall, the gameplay and graphics are superb. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Ive been playing EAs version of FIFA for about 5 years now and each time it gets better and better. True the previous title was flawed compared to the one before that, but this one took the best of both worlds. The updates are dead accurate in transfer season, the gameplay is very very realistic. Before, tricks were very easy to do, as in the real world, in this game they are not unless you have a great dribbler such as Messi. The penalties are very interesting, the only flaw I find. It was better before, but it certainly needs some getting used to on this title. The crowd and the announcers always make me laugh and are a great addition though as always, they need more things to say, after a while, they get repetitive.

EAs FIFA franchise has improved dramatically over the last three years, and it is always an anticipated release for me. Ive read many of the glowing Amazon reviews, and its hard to argue against a lot of the features. I honestly cant give this a negative review but I would like to add that, in their quest for realism, EA may have gone a little too far. The game is now frustrating in many ways. Ping Pong passing is gone--and thats good--but it seems that the pendulum has swung too far in the other direction. Often the simplest of unchallenged passes go awry. Ball physics seem inconsistent: a light tap for a short through ball will send the ball 30 yards downfield with pace, and its near impossible to lob a short pass over a defender. Defenders are incredibly aggressive. The 360-degree jostling results in a lot of collisions and players stumbling over one another with ridiculous recovery times. You find yourself yelling get up! after two of your own men run into each other, and then take ages to recover. I would disagree with anyone who says the player AI is improved. Your CPU opponent can do skill moves, but your CPU teammates are still pretty clueless.

I have played Fifa soccer since 06 and its been a great experience, but Fifa 11 has managed to make me stop playing the game. They took all the fun out of the game, passing is really hard, fast players are slow, shooting from far doesnt work, it is extremely difficult to score a Goal, to the point of frustration. Yes it is more like real life but real life Sucks, the fact that anybody could play well with good player was great, it brought more fans, I spent countless hours playing Fifa Ultimate Team 10, and i was really looking forward to this season. With so many players disconnecting it will really suck that after working really hard to score a goal the other player disconnects at the 90min. Save your money, Fifa 10 is much better. Also EA shows greed now you have to pay extra to play online(1 code included), we have three users at home and now they want more than the $60 for playing online. If EA wanted less people to play Fifa mission accomplished. ill be selling my copy of Fifa 11. Very sad to write this review. I hope Fifa 12 brings back the fun, Scoring Goals! EA stop charging extra for other users to play online, its bad enough you charge $60 for the world cup game when it should be an added update like the Ultimate Team.

This game recreates all we could expect from a real soccer match, highly physical, player mentality, and gorgeous visuals.. mi best fifa game yet!

For all the football/ soccer fan you would find this title thoroughly enjoyable, it is also an improvement on the previous title. There is so much to do in this game I dont know where to start.
