FIFA Soccer 13 - Xbox 360

Son loves playing this. He is a great soccer fanatic. The graphics are very realistic - I loved the way the game set up looks. Feels real.

Detailed, Detailed, Detailed. This game has so many controls and button combinations it is unreal. This is good for a couple of reasons: 1. You have much more accurate controls which result in life like movement. 2. Each time I play the game, it is fun and challenging to learn/try new moves. The training areas are awesome too. You can select different areas to improve on either in a free practice mode or in the skills section. Very fun and highly recommend!

I think fifa soccer, every year is a better game tha the older, i will play every year the new fifa soccer.

Fifa doesnt tend to improve in great leaps and bounds throughout the years but this year does have some significant improvements. Most notable for me is the manual passing, its no longer enough to hit the pass button and direct towards your team mate and hope nobody intercepts. You need to weight your passes, the longer you hold the button the harder the pass will be and the further the ball will go. Also the opponent and off the ball player AI has significantly improved, its no longer as simple as running at a player and then hitting back on the controller to get around them. I love this game

Ive been a loyal FIFA customer since 2007. Its no secret that EA basically repackages and sells the same game every year -- and you know what? I accept that. The gameplay is fun and there are no better alternatives on the market. The problem with FIFA 13, though, is that its so unbelievably plagued by glitches that its rendered almost unplayable. Manager Mode, the most popular feature of the game, is completely broken. Good luck loading your Manager Mode file after youve played about a month into your career. (Hint: your system will freeze or youll get an error message.) Chances are that youll have spent in-game credits toward that particular career too, but kiss those goodbye. The time and money you invest in this game will be all for naught. If you can find a game mode that actually works beyond the loading screen (such as the player portion of career mode), youll find a new set of exciting glitches awaiting you. For example, you might start a match only to discover that the ball has disappeared. As a matter of fact, I retract a previous statement. EA actually does add new features to the FIFA -- theyre just unintentional and annoying like Invisi-Ball Mode. The problems I mentioned are widely publicized. How major issues like these go unnoticed (or ignored) in testing is mind-boggling. Quality assurance and quality control are apparently nonexistent. The worst part of all, however, is EAs arrogance. Time after time, theyve shown that theyre too smug to acknowledge the failures of their bug-ridden products. Any attempt at a solution is always too little and far too late. Maybe its because they know that they hold their customers hostage; maybe their developers arent talented enough to fix their own mistakes. Whatever the reason, they will not reward your loyalty or investment as a customer. In almost any other industry, this sort of incompetence and utter lack of accountability would be grounds for a lawsuit. A major portion of the product is critically flawed. Manager Mode, the reason most people purchase the game, does not work. Bottom line: Youll enjoy FIFA 13 if youre the kind of person who enjoys when your car doesnt start. Im working on getting a refund.

This is an awesome game! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun soccer game. I like the Kinect integration in the actual game, where the refs react by being stricter if you yell at them.

I have been playing EA sports FIFA since 96 on PC. It is time for FIFA to give the license to someone else. The online experience could not possibly be any worse if two guys living in a box ran the franchise. The servers are powered by gerbils who got tired somewhere around the 2010 edition. And yes, I have cable internet which works with every other game. On the off chance that you get a game of lag free play on the ultimate team mode you will quickly discover that the depth and breadth of the programming is that pace wins. No need to learn skill moves, save for quality players or ever pass more than twice. Simply aquire the fastest scrubs you can find and kick the ball downfield as far as you can. Yes, it is a simulation of repeated one on ones with the goal keeper because the centerbacks, even if you grab one and sprint towards goal cannot keep up with the no skill fast players. Oh, and if you pace abuse and outrun them they quit when you score. Online multiplay virtual pro is exactly the same. Epic fail. I suppose you may enjoy the single player mode, where the ai does exactly the same thing every game. Great fun.

I really wanted to love this game but its just not that good mostly due to EAs Failure to fix ANY of the huge annoyances that the franchise has. Im writing this right now bc the god damn EA servers are not available at this time. Seriously does EA not make enough money off of these games to get good reliability?!? As far as online matchmaking this game is a serious step back from 12. Sometimes I cant get a match at all. If you remember how shitty 11 was at matchmaking and then 12 was great, well this is just like 11. I get stuck in the loading menu shooting at the goaltender unable to leave or get in a match. Have to go back to the dashboard. The ref still gets offsides blatantly wrong. The new offence still ignores easy obvious passes and opts for someone covered by 2 people. This probably happens Atleast 4-5 times a game for me. NEW annoying things for this game is that goalies are now super stupid. Like super retarted. They punch easy balls, miss rolling balls shot from 30 yards out. Really its dumb. 1st touch is cool but only if you have an amazing team, the joy of using crappy MLS or Mexican teams goes away shortly after they miss control for the 5th or 6th time Basically Im a casual gamer, first touch takes a lot of the fun out of the game. I enjoy playing with 2-3 star teams and now its just frustrating. I gave it 3 stars bc its still an alright game and they added cool new stuff, just havent bothered to fix any of the stuff mentioned above.

Unreal game, best feef yet, Im addicted. Definitely recommend buying this game. I am, however, not a fan of having to type a certain amount of words! Its all good though because amazon.com is amazing!
