We live in New Mexico, and being a dry place there tends to be a lot of dust. Before using this filter, within days of dusting there was constant dust in the house. After installing this filter, weeks go by and theres barely any dust in the house. Its unbelievable. The filter does get incredibly dirty after just a couple of months, so replacing it often does help.

the size needed is not carried at walmart, lowes, or home depot

Dont make the same mistake I did and waste your time and hard-earned cash for these useless filters. Do they work ok as filters? Ill never know as they wouldnt fit properly and after all the time spent trying to gently bend them in order for them to fit, they were ruined. I was ready to put my head through the wall because of these POS filters. The last filters I had were the same size AND THEY FIT.

Excellent filters. Amazon makes it easy to find the size I need (23.5” x 23.5”), something that is difficult to find in stores by my house. I like to change monthly, not every three months as the packaging suggests.

I buy these because of the testing that project farm did on YouTube. They do a great job.

A tight fit which is a good thing! Make sure of your measurements there is no room for error on these filters reduces blow by. Raised pressure drop from 1 WC for a cheap filter to 2 WC for this filter no problem. Even in a variable speed blower system looks good.
