I bought my case back when I first got my switch in 2019, and it does its job like a case should. Its sturdy, not cheap looking, and has a lot of space inside for extra things. It is however big and if youre looking to put this in a purse or backpack, this may not be the case for you as it takes a LOT of space up. My only gripe and the reason why Im back here is that now my handle has torn off, and it doesnt seem to be fixable the way that it was sewn together, so it makes that difficult. Im bummed out and I really like this case, but after some wear and tear it does fall apart. Otherwise, good case

So my first switch case had an unfortunate maple syrup incident so I needed a new one, so I figured I would get a new design one. This case is almost perfect. Pros: - Colorful outer shell design -Larger than expected zippered pocket -screen protector/game cartridge holder -Elastic exists -seems sturdy Cons: -The hand strap area is starting to show weakness, stretching/pulling where it meets the case. -The screen protector is only the size of the screen which limits coverage & how many game cartridges the case can hold -The case feels smooth but has random rough areas that are a bit annoying. Persons with texture sensitivities might find it worse than the average person. -There is a lasting odor to this case like plastic and gasoline had a baby. Persons with scent sensitivities might find it harder to ignore than the average person. -THE ELASTIC is my main issue with this case, it is poorly placed so that it is hard to lift over the joycon joysticks and can damage them. I fight to get my switch out of this case. My previous case had a 3-4 inch wide elastic strap that crossed over the screen in the middle and had velcro to easily open and close the strap. It held my switch perfectly and allowed for easy removal. I am going to cut out the wimpy elastic and replace it with something like my previous cases strap, but not everyone is capable of doing this. I understand they put the elastics on the sides for a reason, but for me, it is dumb. I still love this case, there is just room for improvement.

Case is a beautiful galaxy, just like the photo. It fits my switch perfectly and is exactly what I wanted. Only reason it didn’t get a 5 star is the strong chemical smell of the case when I opened the package. It is taking a long time to degas. If you can let it sit in a well ventilated room for about a week, that would be ideal.

Its so perfect oh my goodness. I got a matching case for my Apple pencil. It isnt a rigid hard case, but the exterior is hard. But the case itself has some give which I like. I dont know how it would protect against a fall but Im not one to drop this anyway. It has the semi hard exterior and a soft fabric interior. There isnt much padding but it still would seem to protect the switch from scratches. I dont have game cards as I download them digitally but there is space for them. People claimed the elastic straps tore but mine are holding up and I stretch them quote a bit. Although Im always worried that theyll pull on the joysticks when Im taking the switch out. Still worth it though. My only grip is that the zippered mesh pocket barely holds anything. I store my joycon straps, thumbstick covers, and my pencil grips in there and it closes fine. But it I store anything else or anything thicker the case wont close or it will be tight and press against the switch. And we dont want that. I would be interested if Fintie made a larger case, like a cube shape, which would hold the switch+joycons, the doc, and cables. Those would be fairly big cases but would allow for more organized traveling when I want to take the dock with me.

My daughter loves this! Cute design and keeps her games in one spot. Would buy again.

Get in the habit,. Cause if by chance someone picks up case and sipper isnt done up the switch will fall out without this elastic band straps on each side being used. GREAT DESIGN you can tell they tested it and really did their homework and study on this for what buyers would want and need.

I love my carrier for my switch. It’s super easy and it keeps the switch very secure. There is even space for games if bought at the stores. Would have liked it to fit the charger but I’m not complaining about it!

I dont understand why you wouldnt make it big enough for the charger... I suppose if you are not planning on needing to charge it by taking it out of the house for a limited amount of time or not using it for storage. It was really annoying not being able to pack all of the basic accessories in it. Returning it for a bigger case but unfortunately theres not a lot of cute options.
