> 3 dayYup my 2015 iPadPro still works, shocker! Anyways after 5 years of love and even yes abuse including my children dropping it off the top of their bunk bed (and yes onto a wood floor with no carpet) more than once........ this case finally broke on the corner by the camera, nothing happened in particular to cause the break I just noticed it after a small tumble, so yeah it did its job over and over and over in terms of protection. The galaxy print one is 5 years old the Composition Book model is the brand new replacement. You can see that Fintie has updated their logo and its placement but not much else has changed and I am delighted about that. The 5 year old model shows some wear on the edges and general grime from me not cleaning enough but other than that it has held up without delaminating or separating in any way. The material does not feel the most expensive (because its not) but they seem to have good quality control and its durable. It doesn’t feel cheap. When going to replace the case I actually shopped around to see if there was anything better and this case boiled down to being the slimmest while having a hard case back shell and full dust cover since I shove it right in my backpack everyday with no sleeve. The stand design is what you would expect from the standard trifold iPad cover which is not much but perfectly fine for my needs which is that I do art so basically I dont use the stand much and just need a case that gets out of the way and lets me turn and twist and angle this however I want on my lap or desk without being awkward and in the way. If I wanted a drawing stand I would buy a dedicated one that actually could hold the weight, I don’t expect a built in stand to be that kind of support I just want to not be distracted and bothered by it while drawing. The bezel on the inside edge is very slim which gives me the maximum amount of space to move my hand, something that more robust cases seem to have really missed the ball on as I am not going to pay triple the price for a case that blocks the main usage of the iPadPro which is drawing. This is a something I knew when I bought it in 2015 since the only reason I returned to the iPad platform was the addition of the Apple Pencil but something case makers like OtterBox had not all realized in 2015. Luckily for me Fintie designed a good no nonsense solution and its still in my opinion the best one out there for your 2015/2017 iPad Pro. The one thing I was hoping to find in an upgrade case is a pen holder and this model does not have one but I have not had one for 5 years choosing instead to use a separate little carrier with the strap to wrap around the case or toss in my bag separately. The one made by Fintie that I bought 5 years ago is still going strong and I handed it down to my daughter. I also bought a new one from Fintie to go with this new case.

> 3 dayGreat cover - very cool. I feel like I have my sketch pad in stealth mode with it - nice to have such an expensive pad hide in plain sight.

> 3 dayNear perfect camouflage for the iPad Pro 12.9. Unless someone knows or sees me using the iPad they believe its just a composition book. Ive managed to drop it once so far and it protected the iPad when landing on compacted dirt. Its not the ideal physical protection but it keeps the iPad from growing feet and does keep some of the spills off of it.

> 3 dayI really love this case. The back is a hard plastic and I have not had any issues with the image peeling off. It seems really on there. The inside of the front is a felt and it is magnetic so it stays closed. Sometimes I have a hard time getting it to stand up but I think thats just me fumbling to find the sweet spot. 10/10 would buy again. :)
