Very durable and cute!

The case looks great, feels sturdy. The first thing that caught my attention was it is noticeably thinner than other popular brands. This was exactly what I was looking for, something to carry my console and some games without a lot of bulk. This case is perfect for that purpose. The hard outer shell feels like it will sufficiently protect my console. The case also doesnt allow a lot of wiggle room for the console to free float like other cases Ive owned previously.

I bought this Fintie case along with a similar product from Tomtoc to see which one I liked better. Unfortunately both of these suffer from the same issues. 1. The case does not have a snug fit, so the device slides around just a little even when the case is closed, which leads into the more serious issue... 2. As you can see the case has indentations where the joysticks are supposed to go, however, the joystick slots in the case are slightly wider than the locations of the actual joysticks. This means that only one joystick can be protected at a time and the other joystick will be under pressure from the case. Not good. The case is made from good material, and looks great, but considering that it is supposed to be a form-fitted mold of the Nintendo Switch, the sizing is completely wrong. Too bad, could have been perfect. I plan to return these. I will stick with these same brands, but try a larger case that provides adequate protection for the joysticks.

I like the minimalist nature of this case, it was exactly what Id been looking for - holds my switch snugly and seems pretty sturdy w/ a decent amount of padding and heavy duty zippers. The silly little wrist strap is nothing but an irritant though, there is no way to detach it our even tuck it out of the way and it will NEVER get used. I ended up just cutting the darn thing off.

No nonsense case for switch.

Love this case! Super good quality materials and zippers are used. I do wish that there was a way to secure the switch inside the case using the game case holder and a velcro strap from the bottom but its not a deal breaker. Also I was impressed that with how slim it is that the joystick do not get pressed down at all unless you apply alot of pressure and press down on the little button things on the outside of the case. The only negative thing that I also read in other reviews were that the case has a weird smell. However what I did was spray it with a strong cologne from a distance to just mist it and then let the case air dry over night. Now 2 days later and the smell is covered by the cologne but its very faint smelling of cologne since I just misted it. But this isn;t a deal breaker. I would highly recommend if you are in the market for a slim case, especially if you were upset with the Tomtoc slim case that would press down on the joysticks!

The case that I had before was junk. The handle and zipper both failed. This case wont be having those issues. The zipper on this case is heavy duty. Another reason why I plucked this case is because it DOESNT have those elastic straps that are suppose to hold the Switch in the case when its opened. Those elastic straps were more of a pain than a benefit. I never liked how the straps would get stuck on the joysticks when removing the console. This is a REALLY good value because of the build quality.

I bought this for my OLED Switch and I couldnt have asked for more! It has kept my Switch safe, despite how rough I am on it. Its a really solid case and looks really good. This is THE case if you want a case for just your Switch and joycons.
