Due to living in hurricane zone and suspicious fluctuating power, I ordered this unit to have for emergencies and be able to run on our generator. I received the unit well packaged and immediately unpacked to verify everything. This unit was very easy to follow the minimal instructions needed to put together and use. I placed on the front bedroom window with exhaust tube, turned on, and in no time felt plenty of cool air blowing! I did have to cut down the window slider bracket due to needing to reduce the size (width) by a few inches, as we are using the horizontal mount. Simple job with a small hacksaw. This house has original windows which are smaller than most newer construction, so the modification wouldnt be needed for most people. I now have some peace of mind knowing that my backup plan is ready to go! I did not do an actual sleep test, however I did try the sleep mode and was satisfied with the noise levels. We use a ceiling fan at night, so adding this unit is not going to be a concern. The only way I could see the noise bothering someone would be if they sleep in dead silence at night and it would just be that you arent used to it. The unit has a low decibel rating and is equivalent to any of the competing models. Gave it 4 stars because it is not dead-silent, but none of them are! The portability was another reason for this purchase instead of a wall unit. This can be easily moved to any room of the house and setup within a matter of minutes. Originally, wall units were what I was shopping for until I realized I would not be able to close the hurricane shutters due to the rear of the wall unit sticking out too far. This unit solved that problem as the exhaust port sits flush with your window! At the time of my purchase, this unit had a $60 coupon to apply on Amazon. That put the price point better than the competition so all in all Im pleased with this purchase. The portable AC unit does what it is supposed to do for my needs and this would certainly be a good purchase for anyone looking to cool off a bedroom or smaller room.

I actually expected it to be a little colder. My old window unit that it replaced blows colder.

The air conditioner was one of my good purchases in my opinion. It keeps my room cool during hot days. Summer is almost here and I need all the fresh air I can get. Its also smaller than some air conditioners which is good so it doesnt take up a lot of space.

The air blows cold, but doesnt come close to effectively cooling the 200 sq ft I needed cooled. On the coolest setting on high fan the six feet in front of the a/c is comfortable. My big problem is how the heat from the exhaust hose literally heats the six feet behind the a/c. It absolutely negates the cooling effect! Its very loud which makes it hard to sleep with it running. I overall, Im not happy with it for the price, so Ill be returning it. Also, heads up, the a/c and dehumidifier function cannot run at the same time...this may be common sense for some, but I honestly thought they ran at the same time.

This rapid cooling capability allows me to create a comfortable environment quickly, providing instant relief from the heat, and it is really quiet, i cant even hear it works when i try to fall sleep. third thing is energy efficiency: This portable air conditioner excels in energy efficiency. I uesed to have to turn on my central ac when the temperature is high, it really take a long time to cool down my whole house, that means i need to pay more money for my electric bill, but i dont really need that many room cool down. After i use this small AC, i pretty sure i can save lots of money on my electric bill. In conclusion, the small portable air conditioner I purchased has exceeded my expectations. Its convenience, fast cooling speed, quiet operation, and energy efficiency make it a standout product. I am very satisfy with it.

I worked and worked on getting the piece in the window where the vent goes out and ended up having someone cut some of the plastic so that I could get it in there. The exhaust hose is a complete pain in the butt and if I try to move the unit even ever so slightly, it pops off either the end of the machine or the end thats hanging out the window And it is hard to get it back on. It seems to work well so far...

This thing works great .it blows great and keeps track of the room temperature when off too. Less than 20 mins to set up . Only thing I dislike it having to use the exhaust hose to the window but it’s still a great unit

This product has been working amazingly for the price. We normally use window units, but needed one to go into a room that required the window available as a fire exit. This has been working superbly for this. Id definitely recommend this to anyone else searching for this type of air conditioning unit.
