It looks used. It was already opened when they arrived. Fiskars are great otherwise.

These are the second pair I own; one is for sewing, and the new for paper cutting. A very good pair of scissors for a good price, and can be used with a Fiskars scissors sharpener.

Best scissors Ive ever had in my life. My first left handed pair and they are great. Why do a review on something so basic. Because they were that great. One giant snip from back to tip and it cut it all in one snip every time on tee shirt material. My righty singer scissors I was using would take me 4 or 5 snips to do what these did in one snip and if your a lefty you know how much right hand scissors hurt your thumb. I should of bought these 50 years ago. If I only knew. Dont wait like I did get your left handed scissors before you get old. Im going to enjoy these for the rest of my life. If they ever get dull I will buy again.

These are absolutely NOT left handed scissors, regardless of what the packaging says. The curve on the thumb is for right hand use.
