Charing as it should and have had no issues so far.

As of November 22, 2022 the pin that was sticking is now failing again after I fixed it. It seems the spring mechanism is no longer working even after lubricating it so I had to toss it. I needed to attach my watch to the charging cord so I could set my Sense up again in an attempt to get it to let me select a workout. So big fail in two ways. — Original Post — My Fitbit Sense charging cord stopped working. I examined the cord and notice one of the four metal needle type connectors would not spring up to connect with my Sense watch. So, I replaced the cord with this one. After two months same problem and now my watch will not charge because a metal connector will not spring up and remains detracted. I cannot return it because its has been too long. SO, I opened it up and fixed it myself. Seems one of the magnets broke loose. I removed it and was able to restore the spring in the connector. Another magnet broke loose while repairing so I super glued both magnets in place. The charging cord is now functional again. All connectors are working as expected.

Im disappointed I had to buy this charging cable at all. My old Fitbit Versa 2 charging cable had a dock that would hold it in place. This Sense charger uses magnetism to hold it in place. One of the four tiny pins broke despite having only been used maybe a dozen times. If this happens again, Im done with Fitbit.

I bought this because the aftermarket alternatives looked like they might damage the watch. This is a OEM quality cable, but like the original, its too short to reach from an adapter in an outlet to a watch sitting on your desk. You can use it with a device like a laptop, but then the watch complains that its charging slowly.

I messed around with knock offs but should have just bought orig like this one. While you get two for less than one of these I almost replaced my watch thinking it was a goner. It used to take longer to charge with the cheap ones. Now I’m back to as good as new !!

Not sure why all the postive reviews. Buy a 250.00 dollar watch and the charger only lasts six months if your lucky. All the reviewers are like yeah my watch isnt broken and my new charger works - Really? Great watch really like the features, the charger is pure junk!

Very happy with this charger as it quickly locks on to the device and charges it...the one that actually came with the device seemed to be of a lower quality and the prongs would not all connect. This is made by Fitbit. The one with my device must have been just a defective device or they include the low quality ones with the item so that you have to buy the replacement...not sure...but this one works great so 5 stars
