> 3 dayEllen Christelow, Five Little Monkeys Play Hide and Seek (Clarion, 2004) Five little monkeys, a babysitter, and rhyme. Mamas gone out dancing, and babysitter Lulu is enticed to play hide-and-seek with the FLM long after bedtime as Christelow imparts basic counting to her readers. Cute as always, and a Christelow original, which are always stronger than the adapted entries in the series. ***

> 3 dayi did not find this line of books nearly as well liked as the ones I would read to my children - Dr. Seuss and Berenstein Bears. Those are LOVED and I will be giving to my grandkids.

Greater than one weekThe Five Little Monkeys are my grandchildrens favorite books. They enjoy them so much! Every Sunday when I visit with them, they want to sit down and read the stories, every one of them! My daughter-in-law says that they bring the books to her throughout the week and she has to read them, too! I still need to purchase the Five Little Monkeys with Nothing To Do.
