> 3 dayFive Star Cable makes quality products that last. I have been a repeat buyer of their cable and find it to be superior to all other cables. The cable stands up well to the harsh New England weather. I would definitely recommend this cable.

> 3 dayThis cable has everything I want in video surveillance cable: it is slick and easy to pull without lubricant, but remains flexible and robust without kinking easily. It is pure copper; some other cables are copper clad aluminum. Also, the power cable is 18AWG, which is good for power transmission up to 2 amps (for this reason, I suggest using this for all your CCTV runs, even if you have some free (probably 22 AWG - good for up to 0.92 amp) cables that came with your security package - this will allow you to be uniform and ready for any potential upgrades. (If you really want to be ready for the future, run some Cat6 at the same time, which you can use for PTZ, audio, and upgrades to IP cameras). BTW, the free cables that come with the packages share the ground conductor, which can make installation messier and annoy you if you are a perfectionist. It pulls apart easily, but only when you need it to. The cable is marked by the foot and the box has a place to write how much is left. It was also easy to connectorize with the RG-59 BNC compression connectors I bought here on Amazon. My only install tip is when you cut the end with your coax tool, ensure that the stranded ground cable (outside the dielectric) remains to make a ground with the connector, but that none of the strands remain long enough that they can come in contact with the 20AWG signal conductor when connectorizing.

> 3 dayI had to do a 200 foot run, it works well, very little noise. I have it underground in conduit, it seems to be holding up to the water.
